The changes in WP2 shouldn’t affect them really, although they would have to be updated to work with the WYSIWYG editor, if it you use it that is.
There are two on the page that I just tried.
The Ajax checker finds spelling errors but won’t save the corrected word. It’s also very slow. But’t seems better than nothing. At least I can find them.
Spell Checker doesn’t work with WP 2.
