In reply to: [Weaver II] Any more updates?Weaver has been busy finalizing the latest generation of Weaver Theme, Weaver Xtreme.
http://weavertheme.com/weaver-xtreme/To learn about the differences with Weaver II you can read
http://forum.weavertheme.com/discussion/10382/weaver-xtreme-versus-weaver-ii#Item_1Weaver II should continue to be supported for at least a year, But it will not see any new features. So there is no hurry in transitioning to Xtreme, but it will eventually be required down the line.
Xtreme has all the power of Weaver II with a much improved user interface and more features, so moving forward it is the future.
Xtreme does follow a similar logic as Weaver II, so if you know Weaver II, you will immediately be at ease with Xtreme.Xtreme is in the review process at WordPress.org, so for now it is only available from the home site (link above)
You can vistit the forum for more feedback from people using it.

In reply to: [Weaver II] Mobile Menu constantly resettingIf you see the mobile view on desktop when you are logged in, you must have activated the Mobile device simulator in the Mobile option page.
Deactivate that and it should fix the problem.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Weaver II] Mobile Menu constantly resettingFirst the last version is 2.1.12 so you should update.
The first time you open the site on mobile it will open in mobile mode as it has no way to know otherwise, and you would have to click full to view the desktop version.
Once you are in full mode, if you change pages with the menu it should stay in full mode.I am unclear what you mean by “resting itself when going to a link” as well as “then out of the blue revert to mobile while I’m editing a new post after 4 or 5 updates? “.
You would have to elaborate with a more detailed scenario and a link to your site.
As for the fact that when you switch from mobile to full it goes to the home page, this is unfortunately the way it works I am afraid.
Now the full mode is really an old legacy feature and actually does not make more sense any more. No one wants to see the huge desktop view on mobile and scroll around to find stuff. You would be better switching to the responsive mobile mode instead of the Smart mobile mode and forget about the full view.

In reply to: [Weaver II] Newbie question – sidebar displayEither I am not understanding what you are saying, or I am not seeing it.
I see a Single sidebar on the right, filled using the Sidebar primary(top) widget area that contains 4 widgets.The content area on the left that only shows News / Child of mine. I don’t see any primary sidebar showing above that.
In Appearance > Widgets inspect all the widget areas and make sure you only have content in the ones you need.
Read the layout chapter of the help to see how the various sidebar widget areas are used depending on the layout selected.Removing the breadcrumbs or the whole info bar if not needed is in Main options > menus > info bar section.
In the future for better support go to the weaver forum here

In reply to: [Weaver Show Sliders] how to add image slider to just home pageSorry I missed that post…
If you are still looking, I think you may be having some WP understanding issue.
the first thing to do is simply test the slider in the content area of a test page so that you only concern yourself with making sure you are setting the slider right. when that is done, you can move to placing the slider where you want it, which may require understanding WP or your theme options.
So just create a new static page for test, use a default template, and above the content editor in the Add Show Slider Drop down list select you slider so it adds the shortcode in the content editor. Then test if the slider shows in the content of that page.For more help, you can come to the weaver forum and post in the ATW Show Post and ATW Show Slider discussion group.

In reply to: Website slow loading time – Weaver IIAs said above, first thing to try is deactivate all plugins and see if the problem goes away. If it does re activate one by one and find the culprit.
Second, make sure you don’t have very heavy images loading in a slideshow or something like that.
then try switching to a different theme to see if that is really the cause.
If it seems to be, post in the weaver forum.
http://forum.weavertheme.com/Note: You may also want to update to the latest version 2.1.12

In reply to: [Weaver II] Weaver Mobile Not UpdatingIf the content is not updating, this points to a cache problem.
Are you using a cache plugin, if so, you need to check if it is one supported by weaver in Weaver’s Help > cache section and if so if it is configured as required by weaver.
You also need to clear the cache to see if that fixes the problem.
if you are not using a cache plugin, check other computer / browsers to see if it could be a browser cache problem.Forum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: [Weaver II] Сайдбар на главной странице блога съехал внизGlad I could help.
You should still consider the upgrade to Weaver II 🙂
In addition to being supported, Weaver II has full support for Mobile devices which is very important nowadays !—————————
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Weaver II] Сайдбар на главной странице блога съехал внизUsing Google translate, I understand you have a problem with the sidebar dropping under the content.
First, you are using a very old version of weaver that is not supported anymore.
You should consider upgrading to the current version of weaver which is Weaver II (version 2.1.12)
And you should use the support forum that is at
http://forum.weavertheme.com/There is an upgrade procedure detailed here:
http://weavertheme.com/upgrading-from-original-weaver-to-weaver-ii/Now regarding the fact that your sidebars are dropping under, I do not know weaver 2.2.9, so I cannot be sure but there is a rule that does not look right which is
#content {padding-left:45px;padding-right:15px;margin:0 280px 0 -20;width:670px;}
It looks like you can fix that by adding the rule below in the Custom CSS Rule box
#content {padding-left:0px;padding-right:15px;margin:0;float:left;}
But I cannot be sure if there is not a better way.

http://weavertheme.com/upgrading-from-Original-Weaver-to-Weaver-II/
#content {padding-слева: 45px; обивка-право: 15px; margin: 0 280px 0 -20, ширина: 670px;}
#content {padding-слева: 0px; обивка-право: 15px; маржа: 0; плавать: слева;}

In reply to: [Weaver II] How to show Author on pagesOK,
The Author of a page is the one creating the page, not the one putting content in it, which means the person needs to be at least an editor.To insert the name of the author in the page content, you can use the author PHP function which is
<?php the_author(); ?>
as explained here:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_authorAs explained previously, you need a PHP exec plugin to do that.
If you have pro and you activated the PHP shortcode the syntax would be
This page was made by [weaver_php] the_author(); [/weaver_php]Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Weaver II] How to show Author on pagesI don’t know of any mechanism in WordPress that tracks which author is adding content to the same page.
If different Authors log into the site and go in the content editor of a page to add their content, I suggest they add their signature at the bottom of it at that time. You can use a plugin like post Snippets to make it easier (click a button at the top to insert their signature).
Your second point will either require a plugin, or require to create a Child theme and create a new page template for that page in there. You may be able to use PHP in a regular page content to do it too. To insert PHP in content, you need a php execution plugin. If you have Pro, you can activate weaver PHP shortcode in the weaver II pro admin page and then use the Shortcode.
Third would require A child theme, and then editing the Site map page PHP template to add the code to list authors.

In reply to: [Weaver II] Can additional feed be added to search?You should ask in the weaver forum
http://forum.weavertheme.com/Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Weaver II] Make top navigation central?That message is pretty clear. I have not worked with plugin like this, but my understanding is that you have pages that are created by the plugin and not by weaver. As a result, weaver has no control of the sidebar. But, Weaver has added a hook for plugins to use and it seems yours is one that uses it. For the plugin to be able to add the widgets, you need to create a Per page widget area by putting the name
plugin_replacement
In the box at the bottom of the Main Options > Widget Area page. that will create a new widget area that will show up in appearance > Widgets. You can then put the widgets you need in there, and they should show up on the page generated by the plugin.Beyond that, you should open a thread on the Weaver Forum (link in my first post) with all the details and the link to your site.
