In reply to: [Weaver Xtreme] Users Complaining of Problems On Mobile Site“No, im not doing that. It should be answered here as it is a free theme. “
Really ….. What is you rationale for having to answer on WordPress when the theme happens to have a very well maintained forum??And since when getting a free product means you are owed anything?
Just being difficult for the sake of it?
Anyway I do see the issue on mobile when we tap in the comment box the keyboards pops up then disappears.
Given nobody else has reported the issue, I would suggest deactivating ALL non weaver plugins, and test if that fixes the problem in case one is causing an interference.Beyond that you should post in the forum with the link to your site.
If you don’t want to seek help from the people who know best, well that is your prerogative 🙂

In reply to: [Weaver Xtreme] Fonts?Yes please use the forum.
All font-size font family bold and italic are standard options.
Xtreme does use a number of presets for font sizes to make it easier and more consistent.
Custom Presets are in “plus” but you always have CSS+ boxes to do whatever you like in the base themeForum: Reviews
In reply to: [Weaver Xtreme] Am I missing something??If you are having an issue, may I suggest you ask in the Forum below instead of going into a rant before even having had a chance to fix whatever problem you are encountering 🙂

In reply to: [Weaver Xtreme] A very long time ago it probably would be good. The goal of weaver Themes is not to provide you with a ready to use nice designed template.
The goal is to give you a theme that will let you create any design you desire. If you want already made nice looking templates, you will find a lot of these elsewhere, but most of the time you will find out that if you wish to change anything significant to your liking, you cannot do it. So you are stuck with whatever that design was.

In reply to: [Weaver II] Appearance – Text Widget not updatingDoes the new text disappears from the Widget in the Admin page, or just does not show up on the Site page.
If it actually disappears from the Admin Appearance > Widget > Text widget you have an installation problem, or a plugin that is interfering. You can try reading
http://weavertheme.com/weaver-ii-doesnt-save-settings/
and you should also deactivate all plugin and try again to see if one is interfering. If the changed text is there in the Admin interface but does not show up on your site, make sure to clear your cache, both browser, and cache plugin if you are using one.
In the future, post directly in the forum, as this one is not monitored.
http://forum.weavertheme.com/in general you are better off posting in the actual weaver forum.
http://forum.weavertheme.com/categories/atw-show-posts-and-atw-show-slidersWe need to get more info to try and test.
At a minimum, link to the site.Make sure your page is not set as the WP blog page in Settings > Reading, as I think this can cause some issues

In reply to: [Weaver Xtreme] up-down jitter below menu?First you should post in the forum, as this one is not monitored 🙂
http://forum.weavertheme.com/discussionsSecond always give a link to your site so we can be sure of what we are dealing with.
Now if you mean that the menu goes through some changes when the page loads, this is because it uses some javascript for some of its layout. Depending on the speed of your computer or the presence of other scripts, you can see that brief change during the loading of the page.
So far there is no way to avoid that.

In reply to: How To Load & Activate A Maxbutton on Front Pagedepending on your shortcode you may need some custom CSS to center it.
Once it is in place if you cant center it, post back with a link so we can make sure of the proper way to get it centeredForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: How To Load & Activate A Maxbutton on Front PageYou don’t really say where you want to insert it, or if there are other pages in the installation that is in http://ladyajpministries.com/lady-ajp/
If there is only one page in that install, you can use Advanced options > HTML Insertion areas > Site HEader Insert Code box. Just put your maxbutton shortcode in there.
If there are other pages in that install, you can use the Page custom Field version of that insertion area. You go to your page editing page, in the Custom Field area you Create a New Custom Field , put header in the name box, and put your shortcode in the value box. Then save and update the page.
If you are not familiar with Custom Field, you can read:
http://forum.weavertheme.com/discussion/1281/custom-fields-on-pages-what-to-use-them-for-and-how-to-use-them#latestIf you want to explore other insertion area, you can look at this layout sample:

In reply to: How To Load & Activate A Maxbutton on Front PageI am not following what you are trying to do.
Rather than explaining what you tried, explain prcisely what you want.I am guessing your maxbutton is a plugin that allows you to design a link button and insert it with a shortcode.
If so simply explain where in your page you wish to see that button, and if it should only be on that page.
In the future, you may want to post in the weaver forum below, as this is the main place of support.

In reply to: [Weaver II] LogoPlease post in the forum (below) giving a link to your site and explaining more precisely where the logo needs to go.
Is it on top of the title tagline area, if so where (left/right..) and what happens when the browser gets smaller, should the logo then stack under or above etc…
http://forum.weavertheme.com/Also let us know if you have pro of just base weaver II.
You can also have a look at this layout page

In reply to: [Weaver II] questions about new theme installI answered you on the forum but as it is down for maintenance I’ll repeat here 🙂
Weaver Xtreme is very close to being released at WordPress.org. It takes a while these days for theme approval (several months).
There has been several Xtreme and Plus updates recently, all the latest version of Xtreme, and the Plus plugin are here.
http://weavertheme.com/weaver-xtreme/
and the Weaver X theme support plugin can be downloaded from WordPress.org here https://wordpress.org/plugins/weaverx-theme-support/Weaver II (and not weaver 2.x which is an old unsupported version) is perfectly safe to use with the latest version of WordPress.
Here is the demo site for Xtreme: http://demo.weavertheme.com/

In reply to: [Weaver Show Sliders] how to add image slider to just home pageHave you tried to follow the Quick help in The Dashboard > ATW Post/Slider > Quick Start Help.
How to create an Image Slide Show using WordPress Media Gallery1.Create the Image Slider content. Add your images to the Media Library. Ideally, the images will be the same or similar sizes.
2.Create a Slider Post to hold gallery.
Open Dashboard > Slider Posts > New Slider Post to create a Slider Post to define gallery. Give that post a meaningful name – for example, Colorado.3.Add a [gallery] to that post with your images.
While on the post editing page, Use “Add Media > Create Gallery > Add gallery. This should add a gallery shortcode to your post content.
See this video tutorial on how to create a gallery. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8O0swHbEdVU#t=515Click Publish in the Slider Post editing page. If you click on View post this will simply show all your images on top of each other. This is normal as this is the post NOT the slider
4.Creating the Slider.
Open the Dashboard > ATW Posts/Slider > Sliders tab.
Create a New Slider (e.g., named “Colorado”).
In the “Required Options” section, set slider type and paging options to your choice.
In Slider options, in the Quick Option: Slider Post Slug Drop down list, select the slider post you created (e.g., “colorado”). Save settings !5.Inserting your slider.
Create a test page
Above the content editor of the page, click the Add Show Slider Button , Select the slider you created in the drop down list, click ADD.
This should add the shortcode of the slider in your page content editor. It will look something like [show_slider name=”colorado”]
Publish that page, and View that page, it should display your sliderYou can insert the shortcode referencing the slider you created (eg: [show_slider name=”colorado”]) in any content are (page , post, text widget etc…
And again, FOR FASTER SUPPORT, post in the forum

In reply to: [Weaver II] Any more updates?Weaver Xtreme is free like Weaver II was
The “Plus” plugin is a purchased option like “pro” was but the licensing will be different
http://forum.weavertheme.com/discussion/10797/weaver-ii-pro-and-weaver-xtra#Item_6Instead of having a different theme (weaver II pro was a different them that Weaver II even is using the same base options), With Xtreme, you have a base free theme, and you add the advanced features with a Plugin (Plus) which makes it easier to maintain and update.
Joy has finalized her converter you can try it out on her page.
http://joyreynolds.com/downloads/weaving-3-ways/Child theme are a WordPress feature they are available on any theme including Xtreme.
The theme is available for download from its site (I gave you the link in the previous post http://weavertheme.com/weaver-xtreme/ ). This is until it passes review at WordPress.org, then it will be available there.
You can create a test WordPress installation in a sub folder of your existing site and test it there. You can also clone the content of your site in that test site so you can really see it in action on your actual content.
Once you install and activate Xtreme, you also need to install the Weaver X Theme support plugin.
While it is in Beta, you can also download and install the plus plugin for free from the Xtreme site.
