Is the calendar online? I can’t see any obvious issues.

The background can be changed in general.css if you’re comfortable with editing css files.
If you’re willing to wait a bit, however, we are coming out with some Calendar Themes in a soon-to-come release.
@jimbox what would this look like to you? A main menu item that links to a calendar that starts at x days in the past?
This seems like an error in jigoshop, not ai1ec, most probably related to this thread:

We don’t create an RSS feed for all events.
As for integrating into facebook, this is a feature that we’ve had requested often. We are working on a method to pull facebook events into the ai1ec seamlessly, and are considering doing the reverse as well.

We are currently have functionality on the roadmap that will allow you to see the previous 30 days in Agenda view.
As well, there will be a setting to set your calendar to a default to a specific month

Text colour can be changed in the general.css file. In this case on line 292 with .ai1ec-agenda-widget-view .ai1ec-event a
