In reply to: Emergency: DB errorSeriously, if you can’t act like a normal post and refrain from posting OMG!!!11!1!1eoneoneone 50 times… how can you expect somebody to sensibly reply to your post?
If you would have replied with “I think I might have deleted my DB, what do I do to recover it?” somebody might have helped instead of laughed.

In reply to: Default Template RSS Broken- PLEASE HELPfeed: is a new application handler specification not yet built into many browsers. Don’t ask me why it was put in. It has been an active topic on the mailing list as far as what to do with it. Your feeds are not broken, just access them via http://yoursite.com/wp-feed.php (or wp-rss2.php)and all will be well.
Someday when browsers support it, it will work.

In reply to: Feeds Don’t Validate After 1.5.1 Upgradenickm:
Create a new post and try and validate again. If it doesn’t return the 403, that means the bug is still existent and will reappear after 24 hours of no posts (or midnight) I forget which. If you still get the 403 its another issue.
I upgraded to 1.5.1 and have no problems with my feeds after applying this fix. How did you patch yours?

In reply to: Upgrade 1.5 > 1.5.1Whooami: The upgrade process is made so simple and safe. Why all this worry about manually diffing files. If you ask me, you’re wasting your time.
Sounds like
A. You’ve made some serious changes to the WordPress core
or
B. You enjoy wasting your timeI just dropped the files in making sure not to overwrite/delete my wp-config.php file and the theme/plugin directories. All updates taken care of, everything works.
