    Anderton, what do you mean by “Drag and drop plug in” ? πŸ™‚

    My plugin is in the state now:
    – Fully integrated with wp-admin.
    – Fairly simple.
    – Thumbnails in posts is what im working on right now, its working for my test, but im not releasing it untill I have finished the pages/posts issue…

    “it would also be better if the folders could reside “outside” of the main photo gallery directory”
    What do you mean about that rvblog?

    Hi There,

    My gallery plugin is only for wordpress, at the moment im building in som rather large changes into my gallery to make it very much integratable into posts and pages…

    Here you can see an implementation by a user…

    What are the main features you guys look for in a gallery implementation?

    You can download it from here if you want to try it out…

    Its mainly a gallery but i have thought about having an option when uploading new pictures into the gallery to automaticly post a draft (maybe even publish) a post with the picture into it…

    And sorry for the server problems… I had a minor power brakedown that crashed the harddisc that the website source was running on, not all my plugins was backed up, but rumwall and rumgallery was so they should be running again…

    Hi eStunt,

    Thats a good idea, i have recently created a new “template” thats downloadable from my site, thats is generel in the “spirit of kubrick” πŸ™‚

    But a page part as well is a good idea…

    Samer, I created a small similar plugin to RunPHP, but if that doesnt fit your needs, i dont think mine will either…

    The only “difference” is that mine cache the php code to a file, and then includes these files, as RunPHP evaluates the code each time…

    You can se it in action at my about page that calls both the wp version and the plugins in use via small php code snippets…

    2. When people write in a URL in “Website” they have to add http:// first, if not the URL won’t work properly from the message. Most people will forget to write that first, is it possible to add to the script that http:// is added if the visitor doesn’t add it?

    Yeah Ill note that for next release πŸ™‚

    Hi Sean,

    <?
    $offset = (int) $_GET['offset'];
    $wall = new RumWall($offset);
    if (isset($_POST['sub']))
    {
    $author = trim(strip_tags($_POST['author']));
    $email = trim(strip_tags($_POST['email']));
    $url = trim(strip_tags($_POST['url']));
    $content = trim(strip_tags($_POST['content']));
    if (strlen($author) > 0 && strlen($content) > 0)
    {
    if ($wall->SaveTag($author, $email, $url, $content))
    {
    header("location: wall.php");
    }
    }
    }
    ?>

    Take this and paste right after:

    <?php /* Don't remove this line. */ require('./wp-blog-header.php'); ?>

    Then it will work…

    Philip batch import via ftp is possible too… then you just upload the files to /wordpress_root_dir/wp-content/ftp-gallery, and under manage -> gallery you will be introduced to the import feature at the top of the page… πŸ™‚

    Where you upload your pictures, there should be a box called “Create directory”… to create sub albums…

    Forum: Plugins
    In reply to: Rum Gallery Plugin

    No it should do so by itself philip… Try creating a sub directory in the administration interface… And upload pictures to that directory…

    Hi Philip, It looks like it cant create the .thumbs directory… Is it running on a windows or a *nix server ?

    I update via cvs, but if you arent a developer yourself you shouldnt do this, it happens a update can be broken…

    Philip, yeah you could just create the directories in the root at the backend, and create subfolder for those beneath… (for the root galleries to be shown, you need at least one picture in the directory, cause it uses the picture as a thumbnail for the “gallery”).

    Im a .NET programmer by profession too myself. πŸ™‚ What are the pricerange of the guitars your teacher is building?
