Hi Aaron,
I see you submitted a related ticket! I will follow up with you there.
– CraigI haven’t heard back in awhile so I’ll mark this resolved. Please let me know if you need more help though!
– CraigHey vandersar,
This happens to be a feature in our paid “pro” version only. Would you mind contacting us there? Here is a link:

Thanks!
CraigSorry for the issue here!
I just tested a registration. It seems there is a 500 internal error with the AJAX call that submits the form.
What this means is that the form is able to submit to your site successfully, but before the code to process the data completes there is an error.
You could either contact your host to get PHP error logs or install a plugin like query monitor to see what error occurs:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/
Though this may require some knowledge of using the network tab and browser tools to see what the error is.
I can help you troubleshoot further if you contact us on our website with the error information:

Thanks!
– CraigHey katagoev,
Sorry for the issue!
Is this occurring when changes are made to the recurrence schedule perhaps?
We’ve noticed that making changes to the schedule and occasionally any changes to a recurring event can cause all of the events to regenerate. This causes the registration records to then be non-assigned to any event. We are creating workarounds for this to easily reassign the registrations.
– CraigHey jdbit,
This is a feature that is available in our paid Pro version only at this time. If you have more questions, please contact us on our website. We’d be happy to follow up!

– CraigThat’s great to hear! Glad you could get that working. Let me know if you need anything else.
Hey Dean,
By default for logged-in users the form will prefill first names, last names, and email addresses when using the default form fields for this information. Sounds like this isn’t the case for you.
If you temporarily disable any plugins that might modify how users are handled does the form prefill as expected? Do you have a link to the page that has the registration form on it?
I might be able to help you figure out a workaround either way but wanted to make sure that we could pinpoint the issue.- Craig
Hi Mia,
It seems that my emails are not reaching you. We will have an update that addresses this coming out by Saturday.
Otherwise I have a fix available now that I’ve been trying to provide in an email.Hi Mia,
Sorry for the issue! I responded to the ticket you submitted. Please check your spam folder and also see if you can log in to our ticketing system to see the reply.
– CraigThis thread has been quiet for awhile. I’ll mark it resolved as we are working on better solutions though making changes to a series of event will always have some risk of unexpected changes with registration.
Please let me know if you have further questions!Hey shuj,
Sorry for the pain!
Due to the complex and powerful nature of The Events Calendar Pro’s series feature, changing the settings for a series can cause some unpredictable things as you’ve noticed. Sometimes the entire series needs to be remade which can affect the connection between registrations and the events.
We are working on some changes on our end to help with these unexpected things but we always warn that this can occur.
Sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime!
– CraigHey again!
I’ll mark this resolved but let me know if you need more help with this. We are working on the confirmation system to prevent this issue and it will be available in the next update.
Thanks,
CraigSorry for the trouble!
We haven’t had any other reported issues with the support form. What specifically was going wrong?
Either way, please contact us using the contact form found here and we’ll be happy to help:
https://roundupwp.com/contact/
I’ll mark this resolved for now.
– CraigHe emmaberk,
Sorry for the issue! Do you have the unregister link included in your confirmation email? We are noticing that some email providers will scan emails for links and follow them. This can trigger the cancellation process like you’ve been noticing.
There is a workaround in the form of an extra step for people cancelling to confirm on the website before it’s processed. We are adding this in the free version. Do you want to reach out to us on our website to get the update as soon as it’s available?
https://roundupwp.com/support/
In the meantime you might want to remove the unregister link from the confirmation email.
Thanks,
Craig
