In reply to: Blog Theme with view to releaseHoly crap. It’s almost to the point now where I think it looks really good. I’d make that huge bar between each post a lot thinner. Like about 3 pixels instead of 20. I’d also left align the sidebars instead of center, and make all the sidebar links the same. Other than that, I can honestly say it’s looking pretty good. Well done

In reply to: Review Request: Professional Software Developmentstill kinda wide. Like I said, 5-6 hundred pixels is the most. You look to be 1 1/2 times that

In reply to: WP-Slimstats Problemah…
ptvguy: thanks for doing that. Too often people never post what was actually wrong, so people with the same problem come along searching, find all these threads, but never actually find the solution. If everyone did this we’d probably have fewer people unable to find solutions.

In reply to: WP-Slimstats ProblemYeah, I don’t have much expirience with slimstat, but it does have some issues. You might try contacting the developer (I think it’s Shaun Inman, but I can’t remember)

In reply to: Review Request: Professional Software DevelopmentIt’s wide. There’s a reason why sites always have wrappers, and that’s because anything over 600 pixels wide tends to be intimidating to read. Most people who see a block of text that big freak out and don’t even read it. I’m not like that, but the average user is. Also, consider styling the links. I realize you seem to be going for a fairly simple look, but just a plain hard blue underline link with no hover effect is kinda boring.
Basically just try to style it up a bit. Throw in a few graphics, narrow up the text column, and do a few other things and it’ll look good

In reply to: Review Request: My First Bloglooks good. Just that one little pixel adds a feel of sloppiness, almost, but it looks great now
