@psychosis51, is it happening for you when regenerating some other type of files that aren’t images? Is your plugin up to date? Is it working for the other images normally?

Could you confirm if your plugin is up to date?

The plugin is currently tested until WordPress version 5.7. Could you try to confirm if the error persists?
Also, you don’t need to un-generate the thumbnails to stop using the plugin. It just regenerates it for you using the WordPress core functions. So if you uninstall the plugin, everything should continue working well.

It’s a very weird issue. It says that the core function
add_filteris being created again. But it’s not created by Regenerate Thumbnails. Maybe can it be an error in this plugin (export-media-with-selected-content) of the error?Also, you can check if you’re installing the plugin correctly. It’s hard to understand what’s happening in your case. You could try to disable other plugins or change your current theme to confirm if there’s a conflict.
If it doesn’t work, you can post here more details of the issue, like the steps you are following, the exact error text that appears to you, maybe some screenshots of parts that you consider important. And also you can get some information from the console and network tab of your browser.

I’m sorry for the delay. We try to do the best. Unfortunately, sometimes it can delay a little, but I hope you understand since it’s a free plugin.
That’s a really weird issue, and it’s very hard to say you what’s happening. Since you have already tried to disable other plugins, I’d recommend you also change the theme, and maybe remove some code customizations you created to check if something can be impacting the Regenerate Thumbnails feature.
Also, try to inspect the console and the network tab of your browser when running the regenerate, maybe you can have some idea of what’s happening.

I suspect that you are having an error on the server that is returning something unexpected. Perhaps by trying to inspect your browser’s network tab while the error is happening, you can understand a little better what is happening. 😉

Is it happening only for this image? If yes, could you send a link to download it? Otherwise, if it’s happening to any image you try to resize, it could be some kind of conflict coming through another plugin or the theme. You could try to disable other plugins and change the current theme to see if it works, so you can figure out what is happening.

The purpose of this plugin is to regenerate your thumbnails if you change the image sizes of your site. You can see more details on the plugin page: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
And it should not remove your original images. When you go to your media library, and access the image, you still should see the original image link after the label: “Original image”. The image can also be accessed through your uploads folder if you want.
