OK, you wouldn’t happen to be using the AddThis Social plugin, would you?
I just found this – http://wordpress.org/support/topic/wp-super-cache-issue-when-addthis-24x-is-active – made the code changes and supercache files are now being generated, as expected. Yippee!
Oh snap!
This is a great find to get SuperCache working as it should and sad this hasn’t been investigated and fixed, after a month of reporting and your solid work for them to prove the case.I’ve changed it myself and supercache files are now being generated – great and thank you @kzeni
Oh I was wondering why the supercache files weren’t being generated.
Has this fix and issue been resolved in this latest v3.0 release?I’m getting esxactly the same.
I’m using PHP mode and nothing is being added to the URLs which use a permalink structure of /%postname%Site is http://www.geekandjock.com though I’m unsure whether you can tell anything.
Thoughts?
Yeah, I noticed this today myself.
Got a few 500 errors as well.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Super Cache] [Plugin: WP Super Cache] Driving me crazyhaha you and me both, Donncha 🙂
No idea where the extraneous file came from but I’m sure it was due to some past ‘fiddling around’ on my part too.
Kudos for such a great plugin too, mate.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Super Cache] [Plugin: WP Super Cache] Driving me crazyWell, even though I’m now bald from hair pulling, I soldiered on to look for anomolies.
I discovered a fix.php file that wasn’t in my local install – maybe some security thing I was trying out previously. Anyway, this had an ob_start in it.
I basically reinstalled 3.4.2, deleted this weird fix.php file and viola, Super Cache kicked in. Goodness, I had a big smile.
Oh that’s disappointing, David.
You can only do what you can do though. I use the IFRAME method myself too. Thanks, I moved to Formidable Forms ages ago – great support and I find it’s far better than Gravity Forms.
Hope this helps the OP though.Correct, purchased version allows shortcodes and thereby you can add these Action Boxes anywhere, including in a widget. You can see a styled Action Box working on my site too, so you get the idea.
You’re able to add a Magic Action Box as a sidebar widget using a shortcode. This functionality isn’t available in the free version which still allows you in placing opt-in styled Wysija forms at the start or end of the content page.
I guess that’s the thing, Scott. I can’t currently think of a use case for it, despite the fantastic power of the plugin.
I’ve checked out the Showcase sites but none of them hint at what they’re using Pods for, which is what I was interested in. Ideas for a use case. I don’t really have any or can think of one 🙂Ok, sounds like its something that offers no value to the ordinary site owner who’s running a blog, forum, doing some reviews and selling a few products then. More useful for the likes of review sites and the like.
Works on another of my sites using Firefox so you guys rock!
@mcbsys – same here using FF on OSX
Switched to Chrome and it worked so there’s a little weirdness in browsers there somewhere
