In reply to: [AddThis Social Sign In] How to add Google AppYou guys really need to do some screenshot documentation.
Thanks for clarifying the above which was missing.
That said, there’s still other values and entry fields in the creating a client ID.So when trying to access SSI via Google, I get this error:
Error: invalid_client Request Details response_type=token scope=https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.profile redirect_uri=https://www.addthis.com/secure/ssi_callback?isNewGen=true state=http://www.africansinaustralia.com/ client_id=ThisIsASecretSoNotTellingAny ideas? Love the concept. Still work to do.

In reply to: [WordPress Share Buttons Plugin – AddThis] Add Stumble to CountersYou could add their custom code to the custom area of the plugin admin.
Something like this works for my site:<!-- AddThis Button BEGIN --> <div class="addthis_toolbox addthis_default_style "> <a class="addthis_button_facebook_like" fb:like:layout="button_count"></a> <a class="addthis_button_tweet"></a> <a class="addthis_button_google_plusone" g:plusone:size="medium"></a> <a class="addthis_button_stumbleupon_badge"></a> <a class="addthis_button_pinterest_pinit"></a> <a class="addthis_counter addthis_pill_style"></a> </div>Cool Ben,
Is there any reason why I’m unable to filter on Category like I can for ‘Posts’ post type?
I’d like to avoid sending out emails for when an artwork is moved from ‘Available’ to ‘Sold’ and I see the example the newsletter is using is one from ‘Sold’ – this newsletter is only for Available which is a category for this custom post type.
Maybe this is a typo in the code.
Good one Ben
I was wondering whether there’s a way to trigger an auto newsletter for a custom post type ONLY when a new post for that custom post type is published?
My wife runs her own site for her artwork and would like to send updates for new published work, for only new portfolio items.
Is this something that can be done now or needed functionality required?

In reply to: [bbPress Moderation] TagsSo messed up that I eventually removed the entry field altogether from the topic and reply pages 🙂
I’m sure I’ve seen code changes being made in Trac so will see how this is changed in later releases. Thanks for your reply Ian.I’m no coder but I can see an obvious line that would need to be changed – line 6 has another reference to the post type which would need to be changed to horse.
It was an issue with the Wysija Newsletter plugin after all.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] PHP error when replying to a comment – weirdConfirmed. Reinstalling to the latest v2.15 solved this error, for me.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] PHP error when replying to a comment – weirdI just got a reply to my own support ticket, BK
Apparently this is already fixed and was only evident in the initial release of their 2.15 code so only initial updaters to that version should be affected. No idea why they don’t issue a point release update so people like us can get fixed up.
Anyway, they recommend deleting the plugin folder and reinstalling. I haven’t done this yet so unable to report on that.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] PHP error when replying to a comment – weirdYep, seems the current Wysija version is the cause. Logged a support ticket with them to get to the bottom of all this.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] PHP error when replying to a comment – weirdOh NO!!!
Really? Yes, I do use Wysija and that’s unfortunate too. Thank you for your reply. I’ll check that out and ping the Wysija guys.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Testimonial Basics] Image display? That’s your choice, Kevin.
I personally find seeing a person’s face attached to a testimonial to be far more compelling. It would be a nice option to have, in my opinion, though its entirely up to you.
Thanks for the reply anyway. That’s great. I posted this fix in the SuperCache forum as well, since I spotted another user having the same issue.
Good to get it sorted. Now to figure out why Subscribe to Comments Reloaded is acting weird with SuperCache 🙂
