In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Are There Shortcodes in the New Version?@oplvy03 We haven’t added shortcodes to the free Community Edition. If you email info @ opentickets.com we are open to suggestions to add features into our backlog.
We do have shortcodes for display in our Display Options Extension. That might do the trick for you too.
Just let us know the use case you are trying to achieve.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Download PDF – Blank Page Problem@nicktones you probably have noticed the changelogs by now that we are not doing PDF links anymore.
It was problematic and also people can just print the ticket page. This was listed in the changelog on the main Community Edition.
we hope you are enjoying the software!
We haven’t had this reported. Can you perhaps give us a login so we can check it out? If so please email info at opentickets.com .
We can’t think of a scenario where an order will generate multiple records.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Generated pdf's from ticket cannot be opened@tycho_62 update: we’re considering dropping PDF support, since every modern computer and browser allows people to print the ticket page and/or ‘save as PDF’. The library we’re using is one of the best ones available and yet we still have issues with it. Since it is a moving target and most people just print or save the email w/link, this is something we’re going to have to drop as a feature.
However, we’re planning on supporting Android and iOS wallets for tickets, which is much easier. PDFs aren’t useful on mobile devices anyway, which is most of the market and growing more every day.
We just wanted to follow up and get some feedback.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] 404 error when trying to display ticketThe problem was permalinks.
Since you were using an IP only instead of a domain, the permalink using index.php as a prefix messed up the ticketing links, which are meant to be used with a domain.
Using the login provided via email i made them standard links. You could also use post.
However, we’ll make a change in the future to support using index.php on the ticket links, so just watch the changelog to see when add.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Error events@cesar10 following up to see if you were able to answer loushou’s questions…
We followed up quickly but didn’t receive another response. Guessing one of our subsequent updates helped you out. Please reply or re-open this if you do require help.
@cosmosolano sorry that this wasn’t seen!
I was looking at older issues on page 2 of the threads and yours was solo, so apologies for that.
I believe the issue is that perhaps the Tickets weren’t market ‘tickets’ and ‘virtual’. Depending on your payment processor, the issue you are seeing is that the order was in ‘processing’ instead of ‘completed’. so the person pays, but the order never went to Completed status.
If you are using something liks Cheque or BACS, this can be an issue.
You can also use a WooCommerce plugin called Order Status Control to make sure that orders go to Completed.
For 99% of users this is never an issue however looks like due to your settings or payment processer you were a lucky one.
I hope that you have already resolved the issue and were able to work this out. Please let us know if we can be of any help.

Going to mark this one closed, but please let us know if you did find out that WP Help clashed.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] post content not showing in eventsHello @7dallas5
Make sure that under OpenTickets -> Settings -> Events that “Show event synopsis on single event pages” is checked. That shows the parent post content on the individual child event pages.
If you are asking how to show the events on the Calendar, underneath the Parent Event Calendar on the Admin, there are boxes you can click on to set the parameters for each event.
There are several videos on our website to show these aspects at our videos page which might help.
No problem. Glad to help…

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] PDF on emailThere is not a way currently to attach a PDF to the email. The email is generated by WooCommerce.
We’re glad you like the plugin.
Assuming you have people not check out as ‘guest’ and have them create an account upon checkout, there are three ways to get the tickets:
-LInk in email
– links on My Account page
– Admins can re-email them (from the order)Hope this helps answer the question.
Did you install WooCommerce first and then activate OpenTickets?
Otherwise it could be you are using multisite which is not currently supported.
If neither are the case, if you email a login to info at opentickets.com perhaps we can help.
