In reply to: [Media Tags] Change URL structure?Willem-Siebe,
Sure. This is built-in. Since the plugin registers a custom taxonomy ‘media-tags’ it works just like post tags and or categories. It even has default support for RSS on the media-tag term.
See the Help section within your wp-admin Media-Tags > Help then the section ‘Media-Tags Template Files RSS’
Typically the URL will be in the following format where ‘term’ is the slug for the Media-Tags term.
http://www.mysite.com/media-tags/term/
http://www.mysite.com/media-tags/term/feed/For example assume my term was ‘flags’.
http://www.mysite.com/media-tags/flags/

In reply to: [Media Tags] Has an annoying bugUnable to reproduce this on any of my development sites. Note that the menu and all functionality is controlled by WordPress core. Not this or any plugin.

In reply to: [Media Tags] What code to use to display the tags in the front? There is actually a template function for this. When displaying a loop of media-tagged items you can call the function the_mediatags() and a comma separated list of the tags used for the image will be shown.
This is similar to the WordPress template function the_tags();

In reply to: [Media Tags] MultisiteYes, this plugin is Multisite compatible. But no, you cannot share media-tags between site. Just like you cannot share categories between multiple blog.

In reply to: [Media Tags] Roles Management ErrorsYes, it has been deprecated. But without an alternate solution. The function still works in WP 3.6 as long as you don’t have WP_DEBUG enabled. Still looking for an alternate.

In reply to: [Simply Exclude] Bulk exclude by dateThanks for the question. No plans to add this into the core plugin. But in case you are still looking for a solution you can probably code this filter yourself. The Simply Exclude plugin is based on a very simple concept via the WP Codex
http://codex.wordpress.org/Custom_Queries#Category_ExclusionSo you could setup your own filter and exclude the posts you don’t want shown.

In reply to: [Simply Exclude] Breaks pagelines blog page@david Anderson,
Well disabling plugins is standard practice when advising someone or helping determine the issue. You had not advised how you were even using Simple Exclude. Yes, the settings can get confusing and yes if you turn too many options on you can in face exclude your entire page by accident.
If you go to the Posts listing you should see the new column showing the options to Exclude the individual post from various actions.

In reply to: [Simply Exclude] plugin causes blank screen after upgrading to WP3.6@dan Butcher,
Looking at the error message again. How had you determined this was related to the Simply Exclude plugin?
The error is from a WordPress code file and the function wp_get_current_user() is part of WordPress. The Simply Exclude plugin does not call wp_get_current_user() directly.
I’ve just tested on both regular and Multisite and not seeing an issue.

In reply to: [Simply Exclude] Does excluding pages affect the SEO?Not really and SEO person so probably not the best person to ask. But think about it. It you have a page which is present but hidden from view. Does anyone really know it is there.

In reply to: [Media Tags] Not working since UpgradeIt seems to be working correctly in my testing. Fresh WP 3.5.1 install running default theme and only Media-Tags plugin 3.1.2
Added some images via Media > Add New. After the add go to Media > Library. Select a random image to edit. In the right sidebar I have the Media-Tags tag box. I enter some tags tag1 tag2 tag3 click the ‘Add’ button next to the input field and these tags are added just as expected. I then click the blue Update button to update the media item. The page refreshes and I still see the tags I entered.
Switch to a different image to edit. Click on the ‘Choose from most used tags’ within the ‘Media-Tags metabox. I’m now show the tag1 tag2 tag3 tags I entered on the previous media item.
Not sure why this is not working on your setup. What other plugins are you running? The metabox is manages 100% by WordPress. This is the same metabox used for Post tags. Just different taxonomy.

In reply to: [Better WordPress Minify] Minify plugin breaks my plugin codeThanks for the response.
The plugin works like any other plugin. It registers and enques some JS and CSS files. The JS files are setup to load in the footer.
I have tried separating and/or excluding the chat.js. But again I’m getting reports from users of my plugin and it takes time to reply to each of them how/what to exclude. So I’m looking to solve this mystery and figure out why my JS does not seem to like what magnification processing does to it.
I can provide a zip file of the plugin. Or provide access to a public site where you can see more details.
Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
