In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Several menusHi there,
The 2.0 release is scheduled for next week, however unfortunately due to the amount of work it would take (and not sure its feasibly possible to do), shortcode support won’t be added in this version.
The Responsive Menu is currently only built to supply responsiveness for one menu, and while adding shortcodes or second menu support would be amazing I just don’t have the time to implement this currently I’m afraid.
I hope you continue using the plug-in and if you have any other queries I would be more than happy to help you with these.
Many thanks
Peter

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] seatch bar at top of meniHi Phil,
I have added an option in the BETA 2.0 version where you can choose to place the search box above/below the menu links for you.
I would love if you could test this out for me to see if you can discover any bugs and if it works correctly for you.
You will need to deactivate and delete the old plugin, then upload the new version to your plug-ins folder, which you can download from below:
http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/responsive-menu.2.0.zip
Once uploaded, go back to the admin and save the options again to reset it with the new stylesheets/javascript code.
You should now have the version 2.0 beta which would be great if you could test.
Many thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Fixed width?Hi Velcrobots,
I have added an option in the BETA 2.0 version with an option to make the menu fixed width. If you set the new Maximum Width value to the same as the Minimum Width then it will give you this effect.
Also, in regards to having the three bars on the left instead of the right, you can simply type a number like 95% in the distances from right box, which will give you the same effect as having 5% from the left.
Many thanks

I would love if you could test this out for me to see if you can discover any bugs and if it works correctly for you.
You will need to deactivate and delete the old plugin, then upload the new version to your plug-ins folder, which you can download from below:

Hi furet12,
Great news!
Thats why the BETA stage is so important before a full release!!
So many different setups, themes, versions etc. etc. etc. to think about.
Great its working, hopefully the full release will be out next week after all the BETA testing is complete for you to enjoy!
Many thanks
Peter
Hi furet12,
This is odd, it is working on all my development sites.
It seems that your menu parent classes are different to all my sites, what version of WordPress do you have installed it may have something to do with this?
I have updated the beta to include the different class. If you could replace the following file in the plugin for me and then click update options in the admin again that would be great.
/app/models/JSModel.php
We will see if this is the cause and if not well go for something else!
Many thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Menu does not show upHi scuipu,
Potentially, but unlikely.
As long as the wp_head() and wp_footer() are there in the header.php and footer.php files it should be fine unless your theme is manipulating these in some way.
Please provide me with a link to your website so I can take a look for you.
Many thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Menu not showingHi Jamie,
Another update.
There seems to be something seriously wrong with this theme and the footer.
If you look at the source code for your page you will see that there is actually no footer at all.
Your code ends with this
<div class="clear"></div>and there is no closing</body>or</html>tags.It seems it is getting to the wp_footer() call and then just going crazy and quitting.
If you can provide me with FTP access I can turn debugging and error reporting on and see if there are any errors coming up that we can look at fixing.
Many thanks
Peter

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Menu not showingHi Jamie,
This is an odd one, it seems that the theme is doing something out of the ordinary somewhere and I am trying to track down what, where and when!
Basically, the wp_head() part is fine, it is including the CSS and JS files correctly, the issue seems to be with the wp_footer() call.
This is present in the footer.php file which makes me wonder why it is not including the HTML as it should.
I will keep investigating, but just to give you a quick update on where we are at in case you knew of anything strange you or the theme may have done in regards to the footer.
Many thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Display Responsive MenusHi Akhilesh,
Thanks for downloading and using the plug-in.
Unfortunately, this is not currently possible with the plug-in as it is only used for one menu, however I have spoken about potentially using shortcodes in future versions but that idea doesn’t seem to be taking off as it has many complications.
I may look at creating the option to use 2 menus with completely different settings, however it does involve quite a lot of extra coding work and I would need to look at scheduling it in.
If there is anything else I can help you with, please don’t hesitate to let me know however.
Many thanks
Peter

Hi peca,
I can see what you mean, it is not so smooth. I have tried this on all my live and development sites that are using the plug-in but unfortunately am unable to replicate this so it seems something on your site may be conflicting with this somewhere.
There is a 2.0 beta version available on the development tab which has made some slight changes to JavaScript part, maybe it might help you.
You would need to de-activate and delete completely the plug-in, then upload the new plugin via FTP to your plug-ins folder.
Once done, just click update options from the admin and you should be good to go.
As I said im not sure if this will fix the problem as it only seems to happen on your site in particular.
I hope this helps a little
Many thanks
Peter

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Menu not showingHi spoony,
The files are not even being included on your website which makes me think that the wp_head() and wp_footer() calls are not being made in your theme for some reason.
Can you please open up the themes header.php and footer.php files and see if these calls are there or not.
If not, please add them or if you can provide me with your FTP details I will look into this for you.
Don’t worry we’ll get this working!
Many thanks
Peter
