Hi Scott,
It doesn’t seem like the Plugin is currently installed on your site?
Can you confirm you have it installed and active inside your admin?
Many thanks
Peter

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] The menu isn't showing?Hi Nathan,
I can see the menu showing up and working perfectly.
Have you tried resizing your browser down small enough to see it take effect or tried on a mobile?
Many thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] The menu isn't showing?Hi Nathan,
Thanks for downloading the plug-in.
If you can provide me with a link to your site then I can take a look at this for you and see if I can see anything obvious.
Many thanks
Peter
Hi Scott,
This should be possible as you can over-ride the main styles using your own styles.css style sheet or similar. Just set something similar to:
#click-menu { top: auto !important; bottom: 10px !important; }If you can provide me a link to your site I can show you what you need to update if you are not sure.
Many thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] seatch bar at top of meniHi Phil,
Great to hear!
The search box now has the type=”search” with “autosave” and “results” options, meaning that each browser will choose wether to display the ‘x’ on the right hand side and magnifying glass on the left hand side or not as they all handle this differently.
Currently I know this is supported by Chrome and Safari but the others may implement this functionality soon.
I hope this helps
Many thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Menu – variousHi Omar,
I have got your email thanks for this.
I am replying here just so everyone else can see the response in case they come across similar issues.
I have now hidden the other menu once it reaches the breakpoint at 800px wide. The Responsive Menu doesn’t target specific devices but rather device widths.
Meaning, this will show up on a laptop, desktop, tablet, mobile but only when the browser has been re-sized down to the specific width, which is why it usually thought of as a mobile menu as mobiles have small screen widths.
It can be used as a full site menu or just for mobile by targetting the different breakpoint widths, I have set yours at 800px.
I have also re-instated the main logo to the front page and centered it, for some reason you had set the display to none and floated left for this in the main style sheet. You had a few specific styles targetting body.home #et-logo so it was displaying differently on the home page.
Please can you check all is ok and as expected now, if not let me know of any other issues and I will try to help with these.
Many thanks
Peter

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Menu – variousHi Omar,
First of all thanks for the kind words and for downloading and using the plug-in!
Ok, lets go through your issues shall we…
a) I can see you have different images for the 2 pages which is odd… I can only think you may have a caching plug-in that needs refreshing.
b) The menu title is in the admin area title “Menu Button Title”.
c) This appears to be coming from another menu on your site probably built into the theme (there is one with the title “Press To See Menu” with a downwards arrow), this is what is messing up the design and causing the issues.
You can try adding #top-menu to the admin option “CSS of Menu To Hide” and see if this helps fix it.
Alternatively, you will need to remove the other menu from the theme as it is conflicting with my plug-in unfortunately.
If you need any help with this please email me your WordPress login details to hello@peterfeatherstone.com and I will look at this for you.
Many thanks
Peter

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Menu not showingHi Jamie,
To let you know, I have got this working on the http://www.i1024.co.uk/karelia/ site.
I don’t have access to the subdomain version so can’t take a look at this for you I’m afraid.
Please check the above site and see it working.
Many thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Menu not showingHi Jamie,
I just got the FTP details however they aren’t for the site http://www.kareliaasia.i1024.co.uk/
This is for http://www.i1024.co.uk/karelia/, is the site you would like me to take a look at for you or do you have different access details for the subdomain?
Many thanks
Peter
Hi Daniel,
I hope you are well my friend!
I have added an option in the BETA 2.0 version with an option to include custom HTML above or below links for banners/advertisements as you suggested
I would love if you could test this out for me to see if you can discover any bugs and if it works correctly for you.
You will need to deactivate and delete the old plugin, then upload the new version using Upload from Zip file, which you can download from below:
http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/responsive-menu.2.0.zip
You should then have the version 2.0 beta which would be great if you could test.
Many thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Short Code SupportHi Nyceana,
The 2.0 release is scheduled for next week, however unfortunately due to the amount of work it would take (and not sure its feasibly possible to do), shortcode support won’t be added in this version.
The Responsive Menu is currently only built to supply responsiveness for one menu, and while adding shortcodes would be amazing I just don’t have the time to implement this currently I’m afraid.
I hope you continue using the plug-in and if you have any other queries I would be more than happy to help you with these.
Many thanks
Peter
