Hi @ld899651,
Thank you for providing such detailed information along with the screenshots and system reportsโit really helps with the investigation.
We tried to replicate the issue on our end, but unfortunately, we couldn’t reproduce the behavior. Everything appears to be working as expected from our side.
As a first step, could you please try the following?
- Purge all caches from your caching plugin (if you’re using one), as well as any server/CDN cache, if applicable.
- Regenerate Elementor CSS & Data by following this guide: https://d.pr/2Ugvy8
- Regenerate Essential Addons Assets by following this guide: https://d.pr/RtBxww
After completing these steps, please check whether the issue still occurs.
Feel free to let us know how it goes. If the problem persists, we’ll be happy to investigate further with you.

Sorry to hear about your issue. I have just tested the Simple Menu widget with the vertical layout on our end, but I couldn’t replicate the behavior you’re describing.

Hey @bndn, thanks for testing and for the detailed feedback!
We’ve prepared an updated build that extends the fix. Along with Image Masking, we’ve now also guarded Advanced Data Table and added a catch-all guard on the
editMode.initdispatch โ so every editor-only script is protected in standalone preview, not just one.To test, please:
- Deactivate and deleteย your current version (this auto-clears the cachedย
eael.js). - Install and activateย the this updated build: https://d.pr/f/B3a4vN
- Reload the page in preview mode (
?preview=true) and check the console.
Also, please purge the cache from your caching plugin and hard-refresh once after activating.
This should resolve the issue. Let us know how it goes! ๐ Thanks!

Hi @mepuente,
You’re very welcome!
Regarding your new issue, it would be best to create a separate support thread so we can track and assist with it more efficiently.
In the meantime, could you please make sure you’re using the latest versions of both Elementor and Essential Addons? There’s a good chance the issue may already be resolved in the most recent releases, as we haven’t been able to reproduce it on our end with the current versions.
Once you’ve updated, please regenerate the assets from both Elementor and Essential Addons as well.
Let us know how it goes. I hope this helps, and we’ll be happy to assist further if needed.
Thank you! ๐

Warm regards,
AmitHi @mepuente,
Thanks for the detailed report and recordings โ that helped pinpoint the cause.
Regarding your issue, would you please try the following CSS:
.eael-simple-menu-container.eael-simple-menu--loading > ul.eael-simple-menu-vertical { display: block !important; }Where to add CSS: Elementor โ Site Settings โ Custom CSS (or your site dashboard โ Appearance โ Customize โ Additional CSS). After saving, clear the Elementor caches and hard-refresh (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R).
Kindly let me know how it works then.Best regards,
Amit PaulHi @openedsauce,
Thank you again for the detailed investigation and feedback.
After reviewing this with our developers, we found that Bug 1 is not actually needed in this case. The
dirvalue is only used to determine the base path and is not intended to be a subfolder. The templates are correctly located directly under paths likeTemplate/Post-Grid/default.php, so adding the extra directory level would break the Load More functionality globally.Regarding the second point,
sanitize_file_name()normally does not convert uppercase letters to lowercase in WordPress core. Because of that, itโs possible that another plugin or custom code on the site is modifying this behavior through a filter. We truly appreciate the time and effort you put into sharing these findings with us.
Best wishes,Hi @openedsauce,
Greetings! We’re reviewing your concerns with our team now. We’ll get back to you with the update soon.

Hi @sag2004,
Sorry to hear that the updated version didnโt resolve the issue for you.
It does seem a bit unusual, as we just tested it from our end and it appears to be working properly now. Please have a look here for reference:
https://d.pr/v/QNAFIiCould you please temporarily activate our plugin again and share the test page URL where the Vimeo videos are present? That will help us investigate the issue more deeply from our end and check what might be causing the conflict on your site.
In the meantime, after updating with the fix version, please check again by clearing the cache if you’re using any caching plugin.Thank you!
