Hello @digilinernet!
Checked your site and we found the sitemap generated by the Yoast plugin here: https://digiliner.net/sitemap_index.xml
Just an FYI, you only need to submit your sitemap index as Google will automatically parse the individual sitemaps.
@beboptions You can add the filter to your theme’s functions.php file.
For the health and safety of your site, we recommend creating backups of your site and database before you make any changes.
Hello @sahafi73!
First of all, please make sure that your WordPress, theme, and other plugins are updated. Also, there is an option to turn on/off the SEO and Readability analysis under SEO > General > Features (tab). Can you please check if they are enabled for you?
If it’s still the same, this could be caused by a conflict with another plugin or your theme. So we need you to perform a conflict check. The fastest way to do this is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Nineteen.
Please test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check without affecting normal visitors to your site. You may follow the steps here.
Hello!
By default, Yoast SEO automatically detects the image from the featured image section. If there’s no featured image set, the plugin will look for an image from your content.
So you need to either set a featured image or add an image within the content. If you’ve already done this and it’s still not updated on Google, you can force it to re-crawl a page by using URL Inspection in Google Search Console. You may follow the steps here.
Hello!
Can you please clear your cache, edit and update the post without changing anything, then clear your cache again? Let us know the result.Hello, Deborah! We were unable to reproduce the issue. We tried activating just Yoast SEO v14.3 and Wordfence Security v7.4.8 together with the Twenty Twenty theme and everything seems fine.
Hello! We can confirm there’s indeed a conflict between the latest version of Yoast SEO and Polylang. Our development team is already aware of this as well as Polylang. You can use v13.5 for now until an update to fix the conflict is available.
Hello! There’s a number of filters you can use to programmatically change the OpenGraph output of the plugin. You can find a few examples here.
Hello! Was the development site running the latest version (14.3) and did you perform the indexation process before sending it to production? Starting with Yoast SEO version 14.0, canonical is stored in the “New” database table.
What you can do now is either do a search and replace in the database (you can use a plugin to do this) or install the Yoast Test Helper plugin. Once installed and activated, go to Tools > Yoast Test and click on “Reset indexables”. Then click the “Start processing and speed up your site now” button.

Hello! It looks like the Ryte warning is just wrong. Can you please deactivate and reactivate the Ryte feature directly from SEO > General > Features (tab), and fetch the index status again to see if this resolves the issue? If it’s still the same, we suggest three actions.
1. Ignore the issue. Your site is appearing in Google.
2. Deactivate the Ryte feature.
3. Contact Ryte here: https://support.ryte.com/hc/en-usHello! There is no setting in the plugin to change the URL of your sitemap. The file names are automatically created using the post type. If you want to change it, you’ll have to do it programmatically. You can find the sitemap related files under [plugin-folder]/inc/sitemaps/. Here is an example of how someone else did it: https://gist.github.com/mohandere/4286103ce313d0cd6549
Hello! Sorry to say it’s currently not possible to bulk edit categories using the Yoast SEO plugin. The bulk editor feature of the plugin only allows you to quickly change titles and descriptions of your posts and pages without editing each of them. You’ll need a different plugin for that.
Hi Deborah! Have you informed Wordfence about this issue? If this started to occur after their recent update yesterday, they should be made aware as well. Also, the error you got seems to be coming from the HR plugin. Have you tried deactivating that while keeping Yoast SEO and Wordfence activated? You may also deactivate all other plugins and keep Yoast SEO and Wordfence activated to narrow down the conflict.
Hello! Have you checked under Settings > Reading > Search Engine Visibility? Please make sure that the checkbox next to “Search Engine Visibility” is unticked.
Hello! We can confirm there’s indeed a conflict between the latest version of Yoast SEO and Polylang. Our development team is already aware of this as well as Polylang. Meanwhile, you may revert back to Yoast SEO v13.5 until an update to fix the conflict is available. You can download version 13.5 under “PREVIOUS VERSIONS” here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/advanced/
