Hello @subwebsites!
You’ll need the ACF Content Analysis for Yoast SEO plugin to add a bridge between ACF and Yoast SEO. Do you have that running already?
1. This setting is currently set to “off” on our wordpress backend.
If you enable it, does it make any difference?
Hello @narlytom!
This error typically occurs when the plugin update couldn’t complete due to a server or connection hiccup. What did you do before you encountered this issue? Did you update Yoast SEO? If you did, we need you to remove the plugin and install it again by manually uploading the plugin files via FTP.
All your settings are saved in the database so even if you remove the plugin and install it again, your settings are safe.
For the health and safety of your site, we recommend creating regular backups of your site and database. This is especially important before installing, updating, or removing plugins. Learn more about the benefits of regular backups.
Let us know the result!
Hello @sshattersley!
This could be caused by a plugin or theme conflict but before we ask you to do a conflict check, can you please perform the following?
1. Go to SEO > General > Features tab > Security: no advanced settings for authors. Is it enabled? Click on ‘?’ to know more.
2. Based on your video, it looks like Readability is not available. On the same screen, please also check if “Readability analysis” is enabled.
Hello!
Can you please check/perform the following?
1. Verify if your database has the: ALTER, CREATE, DELETE, INDEX, INSERT, SELECT, UPDATE, DROP permissions. These permissions are required to create these tables in your database: wp_yoast_indexable, wp_yoast_indexable_hierarchy, wp_yoast_migrations, wp_yoast_primary_term. You may need to check with your web host.
2. Once you have those permissions set, please perform the indexation again.

– Install & activate the Yoast Test Helper plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/yoast-test-helper/
– Go to Tools -> Yoast Test
– Locate the Yoast SEO section and select the “Reset indexables tables & migrations” button
– Click the “Click here to speed up your site now” button in the SEO->Tools section- This reply was modified 5 years, 10 months ago by Rumejan.
Hello @woollycroak!
You need to compare the output from the plugin you will use with the one the Yoast plugins generate and check if there are conflicts or sets of duplicate schema data. In the “Output per Plugin” section on this article, you can find all the information about what schema data each of our plugins create.
More details about the warnings you encounter below.
No global identifier provided (e.g., gtin, mpn, isbn)
You can specify the global identifier directly by editing a product under the WooCommerce product data meta box → Yoast SEO (tab).Missing field “aggregateRating” / Missing field “review”
To add the rating and review data, each product needs to have at least one review. These properties are created by WooCommerce. They are recommended but not required for each product.Missing field “brand”
You’ll need to configure the WooCommerce SEO brands and manufacturer options. You may follow the steps here.Hello @o-o!
To check for conflicts, you need to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Nineteen.
Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Thanks for getting back, @osvaldogold.
You raised two separate issues. The system-generated email you got from WordPress and the issue with Trendy Theme Core. We’ve addressed them as follows.
1. System-generated email from WordPress
This usually happens when the plugin files are cached and some old files are still used after updating the plugin. This causes temporary errors that resolve themselves once the cache has been cleared. If the problem doesn’t resolve for you automatically, please clear the cache from your theme, plugin, server, and CDN (e.g. CloudFlare). If you are not sure how to clear cache from your theme or plugin, please speak to their developers. If you want to clear cache from your server, please speak to your web host.
2. Issue with Trendy Theme Core
Based on your description, this looks like a conflict between Yoast SEO and Trendy Theme Core plugin. Unfortunately, there’s really not much we can do if it’s a plugin conflict. We regularly update our plugins for continuous improvement and bug fixes but we just can’t have our plugin work with all other plugins out there. Our usual suggestion with plugin conflicts is to contact the developer of the other plugin and have them work with our developers directly through this GitHub repository to find a solution that won’t conflict.
Hello @kreativito!
Thanks for the video. We got your concern faster. 🙂
The highlighted sentences are actually the ones with transition words. So if you want to increase the percentage of sentences containing transition words, you need to add transition words to those sentences that are not highlighted.
Hi Ramesh!
This could be caused by a plugin or theme conflict but before we ask you to perform a conflict check, can you please make sure you’re running the latest version of WordPress (5.4.2), Yoast SEO (14.5), and the latest version of your theme and other plugins?
If you’re already updated, we need you to perform a conflict check. The fastest way to do this is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Nineteen.
Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Hello @deeveearr!
We loaded your sitemap and we got a blank screen. However, If you view the source code, you’ll see that your sitemap contains the appropriate data. It’s just that the stylesheet file isn’t loading on your site. Search engines shouldn’t have any problems reading the sitemap as it reads the source code and not the human-readable browser view. To fix this, please refer to this kb article.
Hello @osvaldogold!
Yoast SEO 14.5 is already available. Can you please update your plugin first to make sure this issue isn’t one we’ve already fixed in the recent release?
Hello Stacy!
You need to have the Yoast WooCommerce SEO plugin to show the primary category in the product breadcrumbs.
Just an FYI, Yoast WooCommerce SEO is an extension of either Yoast SEO Premium or Yoast SEO (free version). Depending on your needs, you can use just the Yoast WooCommerce SEO and Yoast SEO (free version) but there are features in the Yoast SEO Premium plugin that you might need as well. Please go through the list of Yoast SEO Premium features for you to determine if you need them or not. You can find a comparison between Yoast SEO and Yoast SEO Premium here.
If you decide to purchase both Yoast WooCommerce SEO and Yoast SEO Premium, you can purchase the Yoast WooCommerce Premium bundle so you’ll save 20%. You can do so here.
