In reply to: [Transposh WordPress Translation] premiumThere is no version you should buy, the full version is free and may be downloaded from transposh.org (or by choosing the upgrade option from the free version), the intention is to combine both version code bases, but it takes a (long) while

In reply to: [Transposh WordPress Translation] Out of date with errorsFirst, a good idea would be to reduce your logging level in php to avoid notices
Other than that, do upgrade to the full version, have been updated not too long ago, development is still in progress.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Partial translation in checkout processHi,
Disabling woo’s fragment support might help as this reduces the ajax issues.

In reply to: [Transposh WordPress Translation] url error Oops! That page canβt be foundUsing the experimentally marked url translation feature might be a mess, the main problem is when two words in one language translate back to the same word in your original language (event might be one of those words), I can suggest:
1. not using the url translation feature
2. going through the translation table and looking for said doublesgood luck

In reply to: [Transposh WordPress Translation] PHP7 compatabilityHi,
My codebase is now on git, the svn issues were because of the migration plus an issue with the apache svn webdav thingy that stopped working (got into some crash bug there)
The latest codebase is git based and you can browse this here:
https://trac.transposh.org/browser/transposh-wordpressI don’t know if you recall, but the entire reason I moved my development away from wordpress.org was the fact that one day, without any prior notification you have decided there was an extreme violation of the guidelines by this plugin (when a user added the widget (again actively) he would also add a link to us (not any different from what facebook/linkedin/addthis/whomever does). The removal of the plugin did lead to a horrible user experience (as it was not there anymore).
This led to my decision to host this myself and trust on me. My intention was to keep this codebase upto base, but a real shortage in time and a weird thing called life and the need to maintain two codebases (not that they are far, but mildly different) was above my ability. and with the notice that this plugin is free, and I provide most of the support for free (in the last 6 month I did have one paid support incident though, and I made $99 for 3 hours of work, yippee!).
Actually I did learn some valuable lessons while developing this. My build system was wrong as I focused on performance and not on being able to debug on 1 zillion different configurations. I need to rewrite it, which is somewhere along the way, when my wife will take the kids on vacation and then it will support the missing source-maps for the javascripts, and the ability to generate the wordpress.org version.
Other than that, I am afraid that an upgrade here, without the proper time to support this might cause more issues for current users and upgraders than I am able to handle, mainly because of the database changes that happened a few versions ago (charset changes as per wordpress and a new scheme that saved about half the space for most users)
I understand things look weird, but sometimes, they are.

In reply to: [Transposh WordPress Translation] PHP7 compatability@ipstenu That is not what I said,
The plugin works, php7 gives a warning which people may remove if they really want to, users may use it and even better, upgrade to the version on our site which is free (and open sourced) directly from the plugin (they need to actively upgrade)/
further more, I never said I don’t intend to update this, I have little resources, which I am limiting to support the latest code base, once I get the time to do this.
The plugin does not claim to support anything it is not supporting, and there are no security breaches in it. Is there anything in the famous plugin guidelines that forces me to update it? whatever.
Even in this version, this is one of the best translation plugins out there, why don’t you go and pick on the translation plugin that adds multiple fake 5 star reviews? not too difficult to find.

I have seen your post, I guess something generated some not properly closed HTML, I would have suggested disabling “enable translate in default language” but whatever π
