MonsterInsights is compatible with the latest version, and this shouldn’t affect your pageviews.

Could you please share the site in question, so we can check what’s happening?

Usually, a misconfigured cookie plugin can block the trackers to load, or, if the authentication has been expired/disconnected, a simple reconnection works just fine. https://www.monsterinsights.com/docs/connect-google-analytics/
