we simply try check if the log folder exists. But the error message need to be including the folder we want to create. So maybe your backup options are invalid. Please create a simple new job and check if that message will popup again.

it seems that you have reached 9 retries. Your backup should be very big or your webhost server can be slow. Please try to exclude some folders to check if you can get one working backup. If this works try to split the backup into smaller ones or increase the amount of retries.

please try to delete the log folder and check the permissions of the parent folder. Our plugin should be able to create this folder when the parent folder permissions allow that.

our plugin will autoload the used class. Please ensure that the file “class-adminbar.php” exists in the subfolder “inc” of the plugin. If it exists please tell me your PHP version.

the error with “WARNING: Job restart due to inactivity for more than 5 minutes.” depends on your web hosting service. We can’t change the limits of your webspace. Backups needs to be planned carefully.

please try to change the settings to ensure that BackWPup can complete the backup. Change the following at Settings->Jobs:
– change “Restart on archive creation” to 200
– change “Maximum number of retries for job steps” to 9 or higherYou can also try to split your backup jobs into smaller ones.

no I mean that you extract the uploaded backups and check if you got as many files as you have on the server. Can you provide a logfile?
