In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Varnish is not working since version 2.10.0 on CloudwaysHello,
Sorry to chase, have you managed to recreate the issue or is there anything more I can help with?
We have many websites with this issue – if something is just around the corner we can wait or we will be best to disable varnish right now until this has been resolved.Appreciate any update, thanks!

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Varnish is not working since version 2.10.0 on CloudwaysHi Marko,
I can confirm both versions are no longer working, when Cloudways confirmed they could not trace the request I rolled back the plugin to first check if a recent update caused it.I found its fine upto 2.9.4 and then following versions it no longer works at all.
When I say fine, I mean I can update a page and then see my change on that page in incognito browser. Using the latest versions, this no longer happens and then trying to clear the cache from the website end fails – you have to access the server to clear it at the server level.
How we confirmed all this is starting with Cloudways support, we initially thought something on their side was the issue – debugging the problem has isolated the issue to w3tc.
A snippet from our conversation;‘Thank you for your detailed update and for your thorough troubleshooting. Based on your findings, it seems the issue is related to recent versions of W3 Total Cache, as rolling back to version 2.9.4 restores the expected cache-purging functionality. This suggests a change or bug in newer W3TC releases rather than on the Cloudways platform.
We recommend keeping W3TC at version 2.9.4 for now and contacting the W3TC support team to report this issue, as they may be able to provide a fix or further guidance’
They have access to one of the effected websites to verify the settings are correct for their platform – they even updated the configuration to work with :80 rather then :8080 and couldn’t find w3tc sending anything.
I hope this covers everything, let me know if you need anymore info!

Hi,
I tried this version and it seems to resolve the issue. This version is marked as 3.9.1.
I have tested 3.9.4 already (on a new/clean website) and it was unresolved. Will this fix be incorporated into the main plugin?Hi, I’m not sure why this is marked as resolved. It’s not.
This issue still exists and only from this plugin.
Please can you help?
Hi,
That helped a little bit but this is what we see on a domain level.https://www.temp-image.com/1RkZwAdhifx8UXc
(hopefully the image shows as you can’t add images to posts, only from URLs).
Our system default for our account is disabled for all APIs.
We also currently have 3 main plugins in use: Sparkpost (the old one), Post SMTP and WP Mail SMTP. Only Post SMTP is sending open/click tracking and showing these rewritten links.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contact Form 7 empty list element flagged in WCAG scansIs there any further information on this one? We also have many websites where accessibility compliance fails due to this issue.
Thanks.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Js file 500 Internal Server Error when minified w3 total cacheHi,
We’ve had this problem on another install with these two plugins.
Autoptimize is a great plugin but we use W3 Total Cache for the complete system and would much prefer it works correctly with W3.
So we will be disabling this feature by default on all installs and will wait for this to be fixed.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Js file 500 Internal Server Error when minified w3 total cacheHi @shameemreza,
I’ve now tested this on the other website and I get exactly the same result.I turn the Order Attribution feature off and i’m able to reactivate the W3 Total Cache js minification.
I guess this means there is a conflict with this feature and W3 Total Cache js minification. I did roll back W3 total cache multiple versions and it appears like they have made no changes.
As i said before websites using autoptimize for js minification do not get this error with this feature.Hope this helps

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Js file 500 Internal Server Error when minified w3 total cacheHi @shameemreza,
Turning off this option seems to solve the problem on one of the installations i’ve been having this problem on. I’ve managed to turn on the minification once more and do not see this error anymore.
I’ll test this on the other website that i was having this issue on and get back to you.
Thanks!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce V8.5.x causing 500 and 504 errorsHello!
I’ve got a similar issue with two websites but my issue is when the files are minified – is this the same for you?
I’ll be opening a separate ticket for that but just curious, rolling back to 8.4.0 corrects it for me.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Gutenberg] This editor is so bad – even now!Hi @properlypurple,
This was the bundled version of Gutenberg with WordPress, I just went back through my chats when I was discussing the issue I didn’t save any screenshots. We were both looking at the website live, using Firefox / Chrome and both were seeing the same results.
This was on 6th of September so WP 6.2 to 6.3 I think.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Gutenberg] This editor is so bad – even now!Hi @jordesign,
I wish it could of been more positive but i’ve never been so frustrated with a builder before.
We had a simple 2 page website that was using Elementor, the page was a simple design so we decided to remove Elementor and use Gutenberg. We did this because the website gets a high amount of traffic for a few days and we wanted to make the website as light as possible.
Building it the first time took longer then it would with Elementor, I apprecaite its a different builder and it would take longer to find things at first so I continued.
The next month before the traffic was due again, I fully updated the website and the page looked totally different. Pretty sure it was down to flex updates and no matter what I tried, I could not get the page back to how I orginally made it. What I was seeing in the editor screen was not what was being displayed on the front end.
I even tried to roll back WordPress and it just wouldn’t go back to how we left it so gave up on it.
