In reply to: [ITRO Popup Plugin] "Next visualization" not working….Hi, I don’t think so. Should be standard wp users.
Site link – http://www.triplepundit.com
Right now I have WP Super Popup on there, which works okay but screws up mobile users.
I will try your beta in a few days!

In reply to: [WP Super Popup] Not workingMinify is definitely a problem. Having CDN also seems to cause problems.
Basically… caching programs in general seem to cause a cascade of issues with this popup and I still can’t get it to work right without a lot of effort. For example – if I just use plain HTML or the wysywyg, it almost never works – crazy things happen with uploaded image and getting changes to take effect. Embedding page content, however, does seem to work.
However, it’s true, this seems to be a dead plugin in terms of any support or development.

In reply to: [WP Super Popup] Mobile Popups Still HappenI fear this may be a dead plugin. Their website is super spammy and seems to just want you to buy some souped up version.
I would actually be willing to spend the money if I knew it would work!

In reply to: [ITRO Popup Plugin] "Next visualization" not working….Okay … here’s what I’ve got:

http://i.imgur.com/WtBklRk.pngSo, I’ve tested this now with W3 Cache enabled and disabled, so it might not be part of the problem. The popup just keeps on coming for logged-out visitors. Logged in visitors it only happens once, as expected.
However, on my own computer, it eventually went away in FF and Safari. But I got the popup at least 5 or 6 times before it stopped popping up.
My colleagues on two different computer are having it come up over and over every time. All of us are on macs if it makes a difference.
It’s a bummer because this is exactly the simple plugin I need!
seems a new tactic is out today…. I’m getting a new IP trying to access “admin” every 2 or 3 seconds… from a completely different country every time. Blocking is no use!
Blocking “admin” really ought to just be default (until these jokers figure out something else)

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Migrating from W3 CacheThanks Donnacha.
Yeah, I tried that. Kept putting me back into the same cycle.
I’m going to have to try this again over the weekend, I can’t do it during the day because there’s too much traffic on the site to let the cache down.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Migrating from W3 CacheWell… that may have been a bad idea. Supercache so far seems even more problematic.
Specifically, I’m having this exact problem: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/warning-wp-super-cache-caching-broken-the-script-advanced-cachephp-could-not?replies=44
But I can’t make heads or tails of any of the solutions suggested there. I have cleanly uninstalled the plugin – at least I think I have… tried to re-install, same damn problem.
I’ll have to go back to w3 for now.
Seems like a very common problem. I’m still stuck. I went through a lot of trouble to get rid of w3 cache thinking super cache would be easier… but it seems like it’s just as bad, maybe worse!

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Error Message on Activating WP-Super CacheSame problem… complete disaster… did you ever fix it?
Good stuff… I’d love this feature too. The trouble with the blocking of all unknown users is that sometimes people make typos then get erroneously blocked out… having a blacklist like “admin” “editor” “moderator” etc… would be super helpful.

In reply to: Better tagging ideaNow that’s potentially useful… thanks!

In reply to: Better tagging ideaHaha… well of course I do, but it’s a pretty hard task with dozens of writers and posts a day
Forum: Requests and Feedback
In reply to: Better tagging ideaI dunno…. i guess in an ideal world you’d have an over-ride feature if you *really* wanted the tag page for a one-off. But generally speaking, doesn’t seem useful to have all that stuff generated for a single-use tag.

In reply to: Better tagging ideaand by “at least once” what I really meant was “at least twice” … the idea is to not publish the one-offs … dunno why I said it that way.
