In reply to: [Essential Real Estate] Having the .PO and .MO ready. Where should I put?You can place your translation files here:
/wp-content/plugins/essential-real-estate/languagesMake sure to rename the MO file to
wp-plugins-essential-real-estate-sk.mo(remove “-dev”).Alternatively, you can upload your translations to here:
https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/essential-real-estate/dev/sv/default/
Use “Import Translations” at the bottom. The next steps are described here:
https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/translating/after-your-contribution
(Alternatively, you can use the Force Update Translation plugin to push the changes to your site before the translations are approved)This method is recommended because your translations will not be wiped out when a plugin update happens.

In reply to: [WP MapIt] Translation@phpwebdev excuse me for joining the conversation from the outside, but I’d like to suggest making it possible for Italian (and other multilingual) users to easily translate your plugin.
As seen on https://wp-info.org/tools/checkplugini18n.php?slug=wp-mapit, this plugin needs to fix this issue:
“Requires at least” (4.2) is below 4.6 so a load_plugin_textdomain is needed. Please make sure you load it at a certain point in your plugin. More info
Once the process is done, users can translate from here:
https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/wp-mapit/The next steps are described here:
https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/translating/after-your-contribution
(Alternatively, users can use the Force Update Translation plugin to push the changes to your site before the translations are approved)- This reply was modified 6 years, 1 month ago by Naoko Takano.

In reply to: [Hestia] Wrong translation of a word in Spanish@wptranslationsorg @nilovelez
Could you take a look at this string?FYI to @cincocolinas, you can find the translators of a theme from this page:
https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/es/default/wp-themes/hestia/which is linked from (for example) the “Translate Hestia” link on https://wordpress.org/themes/hestia/. You can suggest a new translation and reach out to the Spanish translation community as well.

In reply to: [WP Live Social-Proof] TranslationI’m not the plugin author but I can share how this plugin can be made translatable.
As seen on https://wp-info.org/tools/checkplugini18n.php?slug=wp-real-time-social-proof , this plugin needs to update the textdomain.
ERROR: Your plugin slug is wp-real-time-social-proof, but your Text Domain is wprtsp. Change your Text Domain so it is equal to your slug and modify the text domain in all your source files. This change is needed because your “Requires at least” is below 4.6. (see https://developer.wordpress.org/plugins/internationalization/how-to-internationalize-your-plugin/#text-domains)
@varun21, it’d be great if you could consider making this improvement for international users.

In reply to: [Polylang] How to add stringsIt looks like this plugin is not correctly internationalized.
As seen on https://wp-info.org/tools/checkplugini18n.php?slug=cm-answersthis plugin needs to update the plugin header.
ERROR: Your “Requires at least” is below 4.6. so you need to set a Text Domain in cm-answers.php and it needs to be cm-answers to correctly internationalize your plugin!
@creativemindssolutions, it’d be great if you could consider making this improvement for international users so translators can contribute via https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/cm-answers .

In reply to: [Swift Blog] The “continue reading” translation does not workLooks like “Continue Reading” translations are suggested, but not yet approved yet by a translation editor.
You can reach out to French translation team and ask those to be approved.
Alternaively, you can use Force Update Translation plugin to push the “Waiting” status translations to your site.
