I am having the same problem. Dropdown menu won’t work after 4.2.3. update. I am thinking of moving away from word press. So many issues all of the time. what a nightmare indeed.
Save thing happened to me. I designed the theme in Artisteer. what can I do to fix this? this is for a private members site for a non-profit org, and the members are going to start questioning this. Any help would be wonderful.
