Hi nmcreative!
thanks for using our plugin!
Displaying the author box is something you can configure, although it is enabled by default. Please, go to the plugin settings page and open the “Author box” tab. There, make sure the setting called “Show by default” is set to one of this three options (as per your needs): “Yes, on all posts and pages”, “Only on posts” or “Only on pages”. If it is set to “No, let me choose where to display it”, you have configure each post whether to show the author box (using the setting available on the edit post page).
There is another setting that might be preventing the author box to be displayed. That is the setting called “Hide if no description”. If set to “Yes”, the author box will be rendered only if the author has some bio data set. Else, the author box won’t be displayed.
One last thing you should do is to empty any cache system you might have.
Where to show the author box can also be configured, being the default setting to display it below the post contents. Check out “Position” setting.
The “By…” line you see at the bottom of your post contents is rendered by your theme or another plugin, not ours.
If you have any other questions, just let us know and we will be happy to help.

Hi Mit!
you should be a little more specific… what’s the conflict you are experiencing?
I would need the report the plugin generates, so I can track… could you sent it over? Just go to Settings > Molongui Authorship > Support and hit on the “Send to Molongui” button.
Regards,
The Molongui TeamHi kadvantrix!
I have checked one of your latest posts and Molongui Author Box is being displayed properly, so I guess your issue got fixed when excluding the indicated files from being parsed by the optimization plugin.
As Frank pointed out, you must be using some type of cache mechanism that serves a cached version of the post you linked, that’s why it shows a scrambled author box. Please, purge that cache so resources get replaced with the newer version from your site, if needed.
Regards,
Molongui Support TeamHi kadvantrix!
we have checked your site and we can see you are using Autoptimize plugin, which alters how CSS and JS files are loaded. It has an option to exclude some files from being optimized, please, include Molongui Authorship’s CSS and JS files (which are already optimized and minimized) in that setting.
To do so, please, go to Autoptimize settings page and add “plugins/molongui-authorship,tabs,handleClick,goToTab,myTabs” identifier to the comma-separated exclusion list setting (“Exclude from optimizing”). Check out plugin’s FAQ here for more detail.
Before testing it again, please, remember to clean up your cache.
That should be it!
Please, let us know how it goes.

Hi kadvantrix!
sorry about the late reply. Having a look at your screenshot, it seems like stylesheet and javascript files are not loading properly.
Please, try to empty any cache system you may have and check if the issue remains. If so, please, provide the link to your site so we can check it live.

Molongui Support TeamHi d_random!
that what you said is NOT TRUE. You can show/hide the author box from any page or post without purchasing the premium version of the plugin. We would have appreciated you have sent us a support ticket before writing a bad review based on your lack of knowledge, so we could had explained.
By default, the plugin is configured to display an author box on all posts and pages of your site. You can change that behavior with the “Show by default” setting on the plugin settings page. That setting has four options, two of them only available on the premium version of the plugin, BUT no matters how this setting is configured, whether to display the author box on a post or page can be configured from the edit page. I guess this is what you missed and mislead you.

Regardless of that setting, whether to display the author box on a page or post in handled from that page/post edit page. There, there is a setting called “Show authorship box?” which allows you to control whether to display or hide the author box.

Pleas, if you have any other doubts or suggestions, just let us know and we will be happy to help.

Hi Fikri,
which version of the plugin are you using? Could you indicate the URL of your site so we can check it live?
Please, let us know so we can help.
Thanks!
Molongui SupportHello arianahreguant,
thank you for your review. In order to have two bio boxes or more in the same post (or wherever you wish), you should make us of shortcodes, which are available in the premium version of the plugin. You can check it by clicking here.
Regards,
The Molongui TeamHi all,
we would need to check it live on your site. Please, contact us using the form in our site so we can arrange how to do it.

The Molongui TeamHi arianahreguant,

The Molongui TeamHello Higork and Islychng,
could you make sure that the “Featured Image” checkbox within the “Screen Options” tab (at the top right of the guest-author edit page) is checked?
Also, keep in mind that our plugin uses the native WP feature image functionality, so if you or any other plugin has disabled it, it won’t show on guest-author edit page.
Please, let us know if this helps.
Thank you very much.
Regards,
The Molongui TeamHi artouiros,
shortcode to display the author box anywhere you like is available only in the premium version of the plugin. If you wish, you can get it here.
Using the shortcode, you are able to display the information of the author you define (not just the one who write the current post), to customize how it is displayed regardless of the configuration set in the plugin settings and much more. You can find out here.
Thank you very much.
Regards,
The Molongui TeamHi Thetrianglereview,
first of all, let us thank you for purchasing the premium version of our plugin! We have checked and we have got no email from you, not sure what might have happened.
As your question is in regards of a premium setting, let’s us write you an email so we can communicate over there (we are using the email address you used to purchase the premium license).
Next update (1.3.0) will include an option to customize many of the strings that appear on the authorship box, so yes, you could be able to change “Blog” to “Author Archive” or whatever you like.
Thank you very much.
Regards,
The Molongui Team
