In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] How to turn off Nutrition AnalyzerWe’ve replied to this support ticked through email but will post our reply here as well if anyone has the same question.
You can select “don’t show nutrition” in the plugin setting. This doesn’t remove the nutrition analyzer feature but you don’t need to use it if you don’t want to.
We recommend that you use the analyzer to calculate accurate nutrition even if you choose not to display it. Google wants every recipe to include nutrition now. If it’s missing this they count it as a recipe schema error. The more info you can include the better. It will improve your SEO and recipe rankings.

In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Warning: array_keys() expects parameterWe’re working on Gutenburg compatibility now. Fortunately our plugin won’t require as much recoding as some of the others. You can read more details about this in a previous support ticket if you wish. About 2-3 weeks to complete.

In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Plugin disappearHi Katie,
Unfortunately I can’t see any of your recipe posts. Instead I see this message
Revolution Slider Error: You have some jquery.js library include that comes after the revolution files js include. This includes make eliminates the revolution slider libraries, and make it not work.
To fix it you can:
1. In the Slider Settings -> Troubleshooting set option: Put JS Includes To Body option to true.
2. Find the double jquery.js include and remove it.I’m not sure if these issues are related? Are you saying that our plugin is no longer installed in plugins?
If it’s still installed then it may just of become deactivated. Re-activating will restore you recipe cards. If the plugin is no longer installed at all then please try reinstalling and activating.
Your recipes are stored on your server and are safe. We just need to figure out if the plugin is deactivated, removed, or if the js issue above has anything to do with it.

In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Warning: array_keys() expects parameterI’ve sent this to the dev team to look into. We’ve had very few reports of the issue which makes it more difficult to diagnose. It’s high priority.
Thanks for your patience.

In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Meal Planner Pro update for Gutenberg editorThanks…we’re on top of it and is our highest priority. WordPress won’t make the Gutenburg editor mandatory for some time yet. You can continue to use the Classic editor as normal. Then switch to it later on if you wish.

In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Meal Planner Pro update for Gutenberg editorHello,
Thank you for your support. We really appreciate it.
We’re working on the new Gutenburg editor compatibility. Every plugin that uses some degree of editing functionality needs to test and then develop the necessary changes to make compatible. Fortunately the changes we need to make aren’t as extensive as some of the others.
You can continue to use your current editor until the changes have been completed. This will be in 2-3 weeks. We’ll then notify you when it’s okay to start using Gutenberg.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Full Nutrition Info is not showingThanks Tom. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Full Nutrition Info is not showingYou need to rerun the nutrition analyzer. Open the placeholder to edit recipe. Open nutrition analyzer. Edit the ingredient matches. Save the match edits. Save the placeholder. Then update post. This should display the full nutrition and correct any calculation error.
If you use the nutrition analyzer there will be no need to manually enter anything. We created the analyzer so save bloggers time in manual entry and return accurate nutrition.

In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Wrong Nutritional info shown in google SERPYou can’t hide nutrition facts from Google. Nor should you want to. If nutrition isn’t included in your recipe schema then they’ll count it as a error.
If you match your ingredients to the ESHA ingredients and be sure to include servings then we’ll provide you with the most accurate nutrition available. More accurate than any other nutrition provider.
I noticed on the recipe example you included says 2 servings. The recipe calls for 12 slices of bread so servings should be more than 2. If you edit the servings to say 6? this will reduce the nutrition per serving of around 350 calories. If you match to ESHA ingredients you’ll end up with more accurate nutrition per serving than the other site.

In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Google Search console recipe problemNone. Rule of thumb is to include as much info as possible.

In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Google Search console recipe problemGoogle is now counting missing recipe info as schema markup errors. This can be prep time, cook time, ratings etc. The more info you can add the better. Once you add missing info our plugin will mark up the new content with the proper schema and the errors will disappear.
Every food blogger and recipe plugin has the same issue. Google is pushing all bloggers to include as much info as possible with their recipes.
You’ll want to use our “Tag Manager” feature for creating tags for course, cuisine, diet etc. Also Google wants you to include keywords as well. You can enter keywords in the tag manager section.
Once you enter tags and keywords then save save changes > save placeholder changes > update post.

In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] Wrong Nutritional info shown in google SERPHi Tom,
You want to use our “Nutrition Analyzer” to calculate accurate nutrition. If you edit your recipe info with our plugin placeholder you’ll see a button to open Nutrition Analyzer. Open this to enter or edit servings and match your ingredients to the correct ESHA ingredients.
Once finished editing click the save button in the analyzer section > save the placeholder changes > then update your post.
With ESHA calculations you’ll have the most accurate nutrition. You just need to edit the ingredient matches if need be.
Thanks
