Actually yes..I did search on google..yahoo and Bluehpost. I’m not very computer savy when it comes to code, etc. I retraced some of my steps from yesterday..one of which was deactivating the latest image manager plug-in. When I reactivated it..I could post again. I deactivated it because it’s not working.

Now the posts save but I have no control over images.

    Thanks.

Yes I’m sorry that’s what I meant. I am hosted on my own server..but also have another blog with wordpress alone. But it doesn’t show you what plugins are used. The html editor and image plugins are working perfectly in the wordpress one. I just want to know what they are..so I can install those plugins into the other blog I have.

As of right now I can’t post anything in the blog on the Bluehost server..when I write a post and hit save I get a blank page. It’s not saving anything.

    Thanks

I decided to try and upload a new copy of the Wysiwyg plug-in and deleted the old one from my plug-in folder.

Some SUCCESS..most of my icons above where I write posts are showing again in both IE & Opera..the only ones not showing with an icon picture are the ‘bold, italic and underline’ ones. I see the boxes but no picture.

Any ideas how I can get them to show again?

Am seeing all the window for image manager & options now as well. Still having diffiuclty actually implementing images into my posts though.

    Learn as I go.

I’m adding my post to this thread..a I’ve received no answers in my own thread. Not sure if it’s the way I worded my post..the heading or if it’s in the wrong place. I thought it belonged under ‘Plugins and Hacks’..but maybe not. If not my apologies.

I’m having the same problem in both IE and Opera..at one time it worked fine..now I only get thumbnails if that.

    Original post:

Still having issues with my image manager. I’m using the Opera browser, and cannot see any of the icons that are usually above where I write my posts..they used to be there..so am not sure why they aren’t any longer. I do however ‘sometimes’ see them in IE…sometimes not.

In IE when the icons are working..I click on the image manager icon (above posts and the ‘insert image’ window opens up..but when I choose an image..the file will not open in the directory path..instead insert image window.here is a ‘Error on page’ message at the bottom of the insert image’ page.

Now that is the problem when I access image manager from the icons ‘above’ the box where I’d write my posts.

Underneath the write posts box..there is a place where image manager can also be used to browse and upload images. There are no icons there either (in truth I can’t recall if there ever was but I ‘think’ there were icons. I do see the upload/browse buttoms. If I click browse..monthly folders appear with my old uploads. But in the background..behind the folders I get this error message

“Fatal error: Call to undefined function: () in /home/heroindi/public_html/maryblackchurch/wp-content/plugins/stattraq.php on line 90”

For now I’ve deactivated ‘StatTraq’ but it changes nothing…image manager still isn’t working properly.
If I click on an image and choose ‘send to editor an error window opens and says ‘an editor instance must be focused before using this command.’ I cannot get any images inside a post.

Under options/image manager/path/bas mage directory: it reads:
    /home/heroindi/public_html/maryblackchurch/wp-content/uploads/

should I change it to something else?

I read the suggested link from Yosemite about the ‘line 90’ error..but still cannot figure out what to do about this..any help would be much appreciated.

Is there a simpler image plug-in I can use for now in place of imagemanager?

    Thanks much

Sorry for getting back to this so late as well as being unclear. As of right now I can activate my plug-ins again. Not sure why I was having problems with that.

Hi Dg and thanks for answering..please bare with me.

I am with bluehost..the person who does this for me is not availabe s o I have to try and learn this on my own. For those in the know..it’s pretty straight forard stuff..for me..well. ‘Hehe and yea right’ is all I can manage just about now.

So in Bluehost..I’m looking under ‘Site Management’ and see this:
    Email Manager
    FTP Manager
    File Manager
    PageWizard

I’m thinking this root folder should be under ‘file manager’

Is the folder actually named ‘root”‘ if so I am not seeing it.

I can understand moving up one folder as you said to do. It’s finding the start or ‘root’ folder that’ has me lost right now.

I don’t want to mess things up as I’m not the only one using this website.

Just to be sure..you said..I should click on wp-content (which I do see thankfully)..and should go up one folder again and creat the mp3 folder..is this right?

    Baby steps..baby steps.

    Thanks

Thanks Katgirl for your help…apologise for any confusion.

I had to extract the audio-player.php into my wordpress folders plugin folder..not into the audio-player folder. Very important.

It is now showing up on the wordpress plugin page. AM still having problems understanding where to create the mp3 file folder. From what I’m reading it has nothing to do with wordpress..it’s a folder I must create somewhere in my server stuff..right? Am going to look around there..wish me luck.

Sorry for my ignorance..but this is a first.

PS..Here is the plugin creator’s webpage…he’s answered a few questions for me already.

Is this question not in the right place? Anyone. If not..and I’ve missed a similar thread could you please direct me as I looked and didn’t find anything.

It’s the Image Manager 2.37 plugin…is there another image manager I could use in its place?

As well some of my plugins won’t deactivate or activate any ideas why that could be happening?

    Thanks

I just realised I never posted back to this..did as you said about the folders sometimes being double. For The Dusk 1.1 theme it indeed was a matter of double folders. For the Slinkycat theme I decided not to use it and when I changed servers I fogot about it.
    So it wasn’t relsoved.

    Thank you

Oh man thanks so much..it looks great..am sorry you’re so burned out..and yet still have time to help out.

Impressive and very much appreciated V..really..I thank you for all your help.

Geez..who knows..I may go on to tackle a complete palate change if I can find or create a scheme I like better than the original. Take one step into the unknown and it can stir up all kinds of desires to learn (sometimes).

From what I saw over at pastebin they actuall had 3 options for length of time. They were:
“How long should your post be retained?
    a day a month forever.”

    Forever is pretty generous.

Hope your week-end is a long..lazy one filled with as much sleep & pampering as you need.

You mean like this at pastebin?
