Hello @mecsys,
I hope you are doing well.
Just to clarify: the plugin does not automatically replace native WooCommerce statuses (Processing, On-hold, etc.). Instead, it adds custom statuses (like “In Process” or “Shipped”) that you can apply manually or trigger via automation rules.
Therefore:
- New Orders: It is normal for a new order to still arrive as On-hold or Processing. This is determined by WooCommerce based on the payment gateway and your store settings.
- Emails: New statuses do not automatically appear under WooCommerce → Settings → Emails. To send an email for a custom status, you must enable email notifications within that specific status’s settings (inside the plugin) and configure the recipient.
Here is a step-by-step guide with screenshots on how to create and edit statuses:

In reply to: [Custom Order Status Manager for WooCommerce] V1.3.1 plugin updateHi @antoine69,
I hope you’re doing well
Yes leaving “No changes” in General Settings and Payment Methods is OK.
That simply means our plugin won’t override your current order status behavior. If your current setup is working as expected (especially with Magnalister), you don’t need to change anything after the update.
You should only adjust those dropdowns if you specifically want our plugin to enforce a different status flow for your store.Best regards, peace!

In reply to: [Quick Event Manager] importing list to create events?Hello @rationalchoice72,
I hope you are doing well.
Currently, importing events from a file (such as a CSV) is a feature available in the Pro version of the plugin.
Therefore, for now, you would need to create the events manually.
I hope this helps.
Best regards, peace!

In reply to: [Pre-Orders for WooCommerce] Logic of the preorderHi @vox-terman,
I hope you’re doing well.
Thank you for your message and for using the plugin.
At the moment, the plugin does not automatically switch to pre-order when the stock reaches 0. As soon as the product is sold out, WooCommerce marks it as “Out of stock” and the buy/pre-order button is no longer available.
If you want to sell 2 units now and then move to pre-orders for a future date, for now you need to adjust the product manually once those units have been sold.
In any case, this scenario (continuing to accept pre-orders when stock reaches 0) is already identified on our side. Our team works with organized sprints and, once we reach this point in our roadmap, the team will evaluate this improvement to include it in a future update.
Best regards, peace!

In reply to: [Pre-Orders for WooCommerce] Error Checkout.php:67Hello @umik,
Thank you for following up. We work with organized sprints and prioritize based on the impact for users.
Once the fix is included, it will be reflected in the changelog of a future update.

Hello @smiley58,
I hope you are well.
Thank you for writing to us and for detailing everything you tried.
Loco Translate can only translate static strings included in the language files.
In this case, the label “Change status to…” is dynamically generated in the admin area using the status name, which is why it does not appear as translatable and currently cannot be localized using Loco Translate.
For now, the plugin does not offer a native option to translate that specific label from the language files. This point is already registered internally, and our team manages it within sprints based on priority and general demand.
Best regards, peace!

Hello @nadhonar ,
I hope you are doing well.
Our team is already aware of this, and the option to load these resources directly from your own server (instead of jsDelivr) has been added to our development roadmap.
We work in sprints and prioritize improvements that benefit the largest possible number of users, so this change is planned for a future release and will be mentioned in the changelog once it is included.Best regards, peace!

In reply to: [Custom Order Status Manager for WooCommerce] Email notification not workingHi @psartorio ,
Thanks for reaching out.
When you create a custom order status, the plugin automatically adds an email for it, but it must be configured so the customer actually receives it. Please start with this guide:
How to edit or override the email templates for custom order status?
https://brightplugins.com/docs/how-to-edit-or-override-the-email-templates-for-custom-order-status/If, after following the article, the email is still not sent, please:
- Reproduce the issue in a test site with only WooCommerce, Storefront and our plugin active.
- Record a short screen capture (CloudApp, Loom, etc.) showing the status change and the missing email.
- Confirm whether other WooCommerce emails (like “Processing order”) are working.
With that information we can review the case in more detail on our side.
Best regards, peace!
