In reply to: Changing colour of top banner on home pageI was wondering if there’s any other Construct theme users on this forum – is there a way of finding out?

In reply to: Changing colour of top banner on home pageI bought it from wp.org
Well I’ve much further this time although it says zero for everything – I assume this because it hasn’t been running and therefore can’t track users yet… and the Visit by Country and traffic overview tabs are listed but there is no visual. Clicking on the words brings up a little hand grabber but nothing happens.
Thanks.
Do I need to sign up for Google Analytics as well? I have done but then it tells me to paste code into each page on my website.
You should understand that I haven’t a clue as to what I’m doing here – I don’t know what an API is and I don’t know where a Google console is. I’ve deleted the API key, Client ID and Client secret in the hope that I might start again but this is obviously a mistake and I can’t seem to rectify it – should I give up or is there a way forward?
I’ve deleted my API number and others and now it won’t let me uninstall the GA dashboard as it’s in use with the main site – if only! When I follow the video instructions I can’t even get to the stage of getting an API number. What a mess.
I’m getting this…
Error calling GET https://www.googleapis.com/analytics/v3/management/accounts/%7Eall/webproperties/%7Eall/profiles?key=AIzaSyAJ4Sj1-q5jS8CAQ9_NMYl6vx3wonA-eTI: (403) User does not have any Google Analytics account.
I don’t mind doing it again but what did I do wrong this time?
I do have an account and I followed the video carefully. I’ve also set the plug in to single domain but that’s made no difference. I don’t know where to select a a default tracking website name. I also haven’t even got the Dashboard page to come up after clearing the cache. This installation is very complicated.
The same thing happened to me and I’ve cleared the cache but nothing happens. How long did you wait exactly?

In reply to: email connection to new WordPress.org siteIt seems to be working on my MAc so it looks like a success – many thanks.
I’m also trying to install Analytics 360 – the mailchimp gave me an API code but when I try and authenticate the Google part this is what comes up…

In reply to: email connection to new WordPress.org siteOK – I hit that and this message came up (see below) … do I need to do anything?
Also – I’m running a Mac email browser – do you know how I can set up to collect emails from mark@deadwhenigothere.org on this like I do from other accounts?
Thankshttp://deadwhenigothere.org/ has been edited as you have requested!
IMPORTANT: You need to register at Google Apps for your Domain as well as configure your mailboxes there if you haven’t already.
Your email will be broken until you have!
Your changes should take effect within a few hours as DNS re-propagates.

In reply to: email connection to new WordPress.org siteThat’s helpful and I’ve ticked the box along with Google Analytics as that’s another question I’ve posted on this forum. You say to hit save – where is the save button?

In reply to: email connection to new WordPress.org siteI’ll admit that I don’t understand how these things work but before this site went live the following had been set up and it worked…
I had a wordpress.com http://www.deadwhenigothere.org site with a gmail email address set up (advised by WP) and ‘connected’ to the website. This worked fine.
Then when I transferred to WP.org I had the site put on DH before going live. As soon as the site went live the email address can send emails but won’t receive emails unless I send from the gmail interface. I don’t really care how this is resolved and it’s very hard to explain. If possible I’d like to have it work the way it did before the transfer.
