OK, this is becoming embarrassing!
If you can suggest somewhere I can find this info without bothering you all the time then I will be very grateful. I think the email is the way forward, but have spent lots of time trying to figure the best way to embed a contact form within the email, I thought Contact Form 7 would do it but it doesn’t because it is set up to email itself rather than be part of an email.
I just lack the technical know how to set this up. Any suggestions, please. I feel sure this must be something others have done and I just need to be pointed in the right direction.
Many thanks again.Marion
Brilliant, thanks.

Yes, actually since posting this I spoke to someone who suggested I could set it up within an email so that when they buy the digital download the email is sent automatically, they fill it in and return it to me and I do what’s required – sounds clunky written down but do you think that would work?
Thanks for this advice as I know it is above and beyond.

In reply to: File missing after updating EDDThat seems to have fixed it, the message has gone so very many thanks.

What about the image looking as if it has been cropped – it looks exactly the same in the featured image box on the EDD set up page. Yet the whole pic shows on the first page, the link for this is:
http://www.westcountrybookworm.co.uk/off-the-shelf-book-recommendations/book-recommendations-for-12/
Thanks
MarionI think you have just solved it! Yes I do – as I said at the beginning of this thread. I have set up a download with the image just as the featured image, this now looks fine on the page, but when you click on it to go to the product page the image shows but as if masked and much larger than on the original page, I wonder if you can tell me what is causing the enlargement of the heading text, but not the description and the part of the image which is visible also being much enlarged – I would not mind either of these if the whole image could appear – here is the link:
http://www.westcountrybookworm.co.uk/downloads/dystopian-societies-2/It will be wonderful if all I have to do is adjust all the images and descriptions, which won’t be too difficult. Many thanks.
Sorry for the long delay – OK I deactivated everything apart from EDD and it makes no difference – I am on the standard 2013 theme. I then turned everything back on individually and messed about adding and removing downloads.
I can’t think why it should be but is the fact the featured image shows as the same segment as that which shows on the product page meaningful of anything?
I still do not understand why I have to have the image from media in the download window and the featured image to get the image to show on the WordPress pages.<?php

Yes, please – sorry for the delay in replying, I am not sure where you are geographically but it seems to be many time zones away!
I do appreciate the help.

In reply to: EDD compatible grid/gallery pluginSorry, but I have no idea how to find what you want, I have tried to find a similar website but it is beyond me. I think if you don’t know how then it must be something I need to live with. Sorry to have bothered you. This is not as easy as I hoped!

No, please send me whatever it is I will talk to someone I know who may be able to do it. I thought using the standard WordPress Theme would prevent these kinds of problems, but thanks for pinpointing the problem.
