Do you mean a download format where the customer can open the file, fill in data inside of the file, and then have them send it back to you?
Yes, actually since posting this I spoke to someone who suggested I could set it up within an email so that when they buy the digital download the email is sent automatically, they fill it in and return it to me and I do what’s required – sounds clunky written down but do you think that would work?
Thanks for this advice as I know it is above and beyond.
Marion
Yes, that could work well.
OK, this is becoming embarrassing!
If you can suggest somewhere I can find this info without bothering you all the time then I will be very grateful. I think the email is the way forward, but have spent lots of time trying to figure the best way to embed a contact form within the email, I thought Contact Form 7 would do it but it doesn’t because it is set up to email itself rather than be part of an email.
I just lack the technical know how to set this up. Any suggestions, please. I feel sure this must be something others have done and I just need to be pointed in the right direction.
Many thanks again.
Marion
You won’t be able to embed a contact form in the email. Instead you should include written instructions that explain to the customer how they can reply to the purchase receipt directly.
