File missing after updating EDD

    I have just updated the EDD plug in and received the following message.

    The Easy Digital Downloads .htaccess file is missing from /home3/marion/public_html/wp-content/uploads/edd. Please create a file called “.htaccess”, place it in /home3/marion/public_html/wp-content/uploads/edd, and put the following contents inside the file:

    Options -Indexes
    deny from all

    Order Allow,Deny
    Allow from all

    I have two problems, and I apologise for their basic nature, despite searching I cannot find the folders referred to and when I do, what do I create the file in?
    I have assumed that the location being referred to is on my computer, but none of those folders seem to exist.
