In reply to: Peopleproof.com – Prelude to a theme…Great looking site, but I note one possible improvement.
An alternating highlite for each comment would make that page more readable.

Look in “comments.php” file, the one you are working with is for your RSS feeds.

In reply to: DreamHost and Receiving PingbacksJust login to the test page. Enter some simple text in the post entry, ie: “this tests trackback” for example.
Place the TB url from one of your blog entries in the correct box then and publish the entry.
Then check your entry to see if you received it.

In reply to: RSS Link to Index Rather than SingleExcellent answer Kafkaesqui.
As one who lives by RSS. my reader contains over 1000 separate feeds, I would quickly drop a feed that directed me to the entire site vice an individual post.
It would be like being drected to a specific page in a book and then having to sift thru a table of contents, a forward, a bibliogragrahy… etc before I saw the content desired. Noy very user friendly.

In reply to: want timestamp to be when published, not when post beganWhy don’t you change the time stamp just before you publish?
There no reason “to go back,” you can place whatever time you desire prior to publishing. Just uncheck the time check box, change the time, then re-check the box.
