In reply to: Buy My Blog! Please Read. Urgent!350 a day?
That translates to pennies, or less, per day in revenue. Excuse me while I stiffle a laugh.

In reply to: Itsallyourfault.net needs your theming helpYour sidebar looks OK in FireFox. A quick look in IE 6 is also OK. And the CSS gives the sidebar a 100% height as it should be.
Not sure what your seeing that is a problem.

In reply to: Is there a way to limit a post’s size( in words)? How about hitting that little button above your write post text box that says “More” Then continue writing after the tag that is entered.

In reply to: Daily Revolution OnlineOh and BTW, your archives only show Sept and Oct 2005. Does that mean this is a mistake, misrepresentation or something worse?
“Daily Revolution is a one year old weblog I began writing during the 2004 campaign season.”
Or maybe you just didn’t know how to import your year of writing. In which case you should have been asking for help rather than fishing for hits.

In reply to: Using trackback??You don’t have to generate your own trackback url.
Look at your individual archive (comment pages) pages for each entry. The link is in the sidebar.

In reply to: Daily Revolution OnlineWell normally someone that points to their blog, year old or new, does so to get a critique of their new theme they designed or modified.
Guess you didn’t understand that considering it’s an “out of the box” theme with no modification. Sooo, I’ll critique content.
Question, under the heading of “Global Climate Scorecard” is listed recent earthquakes. What does Global warming have to do with earthquakes?
You also list the recent hurricanes in the Gulf Coast as being precedent setting. Not hardly, not even close in fact, as you can read in the comment I left.
Nice design though even though it is “out of the box” and your just fishing for hits.

In reply to: Sidebar ProblemMy bet is the problem is caused by the large image in your one post. Either reduce it’s size or dump it altogether and see what happens.

In reply to: Google Reader Button“Let me know what you think.”
OK, who cares about Google? With the extreme political bent they have taken with their news service I’ve sworn off anything to do with them.
Ice Rocket forever!
Nice buttons though!

In reply to: using wordpress when installed on a different machineYou might be better off to delete the files to modify first (and keep a BASCKUP), then upload the new ones.
Sometimes overwritting old files will corrupt the files.

In reply to: using wordpress when installed on a different machineYou’ll have to be a little more clearer about what you need.
Has WordPress been installed online? Or is it just on your home computer?
If it’s on a home computer only obviously you need to be on that machine.
If it has been installed online you will need the URL where it is located and whatever password your friend setup to access it.

In reply to: The Featured Posts (beta testing)I posted the following on your comment page for the plugin but thought it may get an answer here also and help anyone else that may be useing the plugin.
OK, I thought I’d give the plugin a try. Everything seemed to be fine. Uploaded, activated, selected 5 posts to display and inserted the code in my sidebar.
The results can be seen in my sidebar under “Classic Full Throttle.” (http://cranialcavity.net/fullthrottle/wp/)
The only thing displayed is my h2 header and a list of 1 through 5 numbers. In trouble shooting I attempted to place a “description” field in a selected post with no effect on display. (I assume the “description” is like a title attribute for a link)
Secondly, I noted one improvement that should be considered. In selecting the five posts to be highlighted I chose 5 that were spread out over several months.
When going back to check because of the faulty display I had to search through all those posts again, and remember which ones they were.
It would be much easier if a page were added to the admin area with all the selected posts and any configuration for each.
Thanks for your time and look forward to solving this issue.
