In reply to: Unable to Expand Mac OS X 10.8 WP Installation Download 3.4.2Hi,
You might have a bad download that might have gotten corrupted during the download process, possibly an incomplete zip file. I’d recommend redownloading the file and trying again. Is the download process completing every single time you’ve attempted the process?

In reply to: Unknown File Added to SiteHi,
Since you can’t see the plugin, you can disable it through your hosting control panel’s file manager, or through an FTP program. Here’s an article that although is geared towards login issues that can be impacted by plugins, is also a viable solution for you if you simply want to get rid of a plugin that you did not install: Disable Plugins. Hopefully, you can find the appropriate plugin folder.
I hope that helps! Interesting blog, by the way!!

In reply to: Delete the Search function in twentytwleve childYour welcome Frank! I did assume that you were working on a child theme already as indicated by your post title.

In reply to: [S2Member Control] What exactly does plugin do?Actually within the S2 Member Framework page, there is a listing of the features for both the Pro and the free versions. Towards the bottom of the screen, there are videos with tutorials. Here is a link directly to the video tutorials S2 Member Videos.
I guess my point about the forums was to suggest posting your question there as well since it is more specific to the plugin. It doesn’t appear that anyone else has responded to your posts here. I believe that it is because they moved the S2 forum directly to the S2 member site.

In reply to: [S2Member Control] What exactly does plugin do?Hi,
In the root of the link that I provided, there should be many resources if you click on the Support Docs drop down. The Knowledge Base in particular has How-to guides that you might be able to explore to figure out how the plugin works. It is strange that the error talks about ithemes.com. What theme are you using?
You might be able to find someone to troubleshoot for you through WP Jobs since volunteers for the forums are not allowed to accept work here at all.
Best of luck!

In reply to: Creating Site on one server, loading to anotherHi,
To move the site from one server to another, you will need to do some backing up of everything. The article on the Codex Moving WordPress -> Moving to a New Server provides instructions on how to accomplish the tasks involved.

In reply to: Do WordPress themes autoupdate?Hi,
Like plugins and WordPress versions, theme update notifications should appear on the administrative panel dashboard giving users the ability to update or not to update.

In reply to: A Page full of codeIt looks like the plugin Role Scoper might be causing an issue. Try deactivating it to see if the problem goes away. If it does, you might want to either check out the Role Scoper plugin documentation and then post the issue in the Role Scoper Support Forum.

In reply to: Delete the Search function in twentytwleve childHi Frank,
It is a better idea to comment out the search function, instead of deleting it. FYI, there was a similar question/post that details the solution. It can be found by clicking on: Remove Search Box Twenty Eleven. Although your theme is twentytwelve, the solution should apply just as well.

You can add it to the header.php file underneath </header>, just above <div id=”main”>.

In reply to: Text Wrap around Images – twentyelevenYou’re welcome Frank!
In the codex article, Example of a basic Child Theme, please see the third step. You would go to Appearance -> Themes.
To Activate it, in the Manage Themes tab, look for the twentyeleven child theme that you created and and click on the Activate link.
I hope that helps!
