Could you please provide us with a test page so that we can see the behavior that is causing problems?

Trey_PSINC, as far as we can see one of the emails (without the link) is sent by CF 7 itself, so if you change the form that you use for CF7 (remove the part that sends this email) that should result in only one email sending to your users.
fuchsdesign, the message you sent doesn’t seem to be related to the issue of trey. We would recommend you to start another thread. As quick suggestion for your issue, you might be using a wrong plugin, please check if you istalled Download Monitor, not Download Manager or something else.Forum: Reviews

First of all, thank you for your interest in our plugin. If you are sure that you have activated download monitor and it is not appearing in your admin panel, there is probably some sort of issue with Download Monitor.

Our plugin doesn’t parse messages conigured in Contact Form 7. We use Contact Form 7 to collect sumbitted data with it. Also Email Before Download uses its (Contact Form 7) “your-name” and “your-email” fields to send email with the link to download to end user. The message should be configured in the Email Before Download settings only. And to generate the link you should make sure you template has the following entry [file_name]Forum: Plugins

First of all thank you for your interest in our plugin. Contact Form 7 is a seperate plugin that allows you to create forms for your page. Once you’ve created a form in the CF7 settings, you can use the ID associated with that form in the short code for EBD. You are right it’s very simple.
Since Contact Form 7 you quoted looks fine. All you have to do now is to modify the short code in your page to
