The functionality of sending multiple file URLs in the email does not function the way you describe. It does not function the same way as the single URL template. Currently, the plugin is only able to show a list of URLs of the files you selected altogether. There is no current functionality to separate them using tags like in the single file email URL template. Although this is definitely something we will be looking into as a possible upcoming feature.

Are you using CF7 and you’re getting the Mail (1) email from CF7? If so, in the Additional Settings tab you can enter skip_mail: on

3. Shortcode and a URL showing the Email Before Download failingPage crashing usually occurs when the contact form ID in use is corrupted. To confirm this for us, when providing the Contact Form 7 working successfully, please use the same contact form ID that was giving you the error, along with the URL to the page.

Thank you for providing this and confirming that the download plugin is functioning correctly. Could you also provide the shortcode that was used to accomplish this? The URL extension that is received when downloading does not appear to be the normal Download Monitor plugin format. Can you confirm which plugin you are using for Downloads?Forum: Plugins

Thank you for providing that. This issue sometimes comes from an invalid download monitor ID. To verify we suggest creating a page that just contains the Download Monitor Shortcode with the valid download ID.
Example:
[download id="46"]
