In reply to: Manage PagesAre you talking about the Admin Panels?
They should be no bigger than any other text on your administration panels. Make sure you haven’t changed the text size in your browser. From the browser menu, choose View > Text Size and select normal.
There are other Admin Panel Themes that you can choose if you don’t like the look of the ones you have. See:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Themes/Theme_List#Admin_Themes
You can manually go in and change the fonts in your Admin Panels, but it may change the fonts for ALL your panels. Try a different theme instead first, because if you change it, next time you upgrade WordPress, you will have to change it again.

In reply to: Comment authorization? In your Admin Panels, Options > Discussion and choose to moderate all comments.
Yes, people say mean things. Moderating will work, or you can try a variety of Comment Spam plugins, but they mostly catch the time wasters selling male enhancement trash, drugs, and other junk. They don’t catch the “mean things” very well, but they catch some of them.

In reply to: Is it possible to edit themes?I can’t access the graphic you are referring to, but if you mean that the bottom of the WordPress built-in Theme Editor has a line that says “If this file were writable you could edit it” or something like that, then you will have to change file permissions.

In reply to: Turn off author nameNo, there is no “selective” way to remove the author information. If you remove it for one, you remove it for all, I believe.

In reply to: Help RSS titlesThe link you have provided is not a WordPress site. If you hare having trouble receiving their feed, contact the site. If this is a feed that is coming to your WordPress site, without a link to your WordPress site, we can’t offer help, but still, contact the feed’s owner and find out if the problem is on their end.
Or search the net for information on XML feeds.

In reply to: Backup Sob StoriesI have so many sob stories related to loss of data, I don’t know where to begin. A while ago a lightning strike came in through the cable modem. I didn’t know that was even possible. I had my computer turned off, unplugged and the telephone line disconnected. I didn’t think about the TV cable coming into the cable modem and connecting to my WIFI router.
Blew out the cable modem and WIFI, which was connected to my unplugged computer. Took out the parallel printer port and screwed up my hard drive, which I didn’t realize until errors started showing up over the next week. I had to save what I could, but lost a lot of the new Theme I was working on for my site and a week’s worth of writing saved but not posted on WordPress.
You never know where the trauma may come from. And when it comes, it can do damage. Live and learn and backup.

In reply to: Way to prevent image theft? There are TONS of methods from limiting right click abilities, using your robots.txt file to stop pirating of images, watermarks, and the list goes on and on.
Search the Internet for this information. There is plenty.

In reply to: Right column on my site… Integration problems1. You are using tables and tables are for data not design.
2. Get your site out of tables. Use web standard CSS designs.
3. Consider choosing a multi-column Theme and “starting over” from there. See http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Themes
4. If you still want to hold on to tables in your design, take a look at what is possible, and beyond your imagination, in web page design WITHOUT TABLES at http://www.csszengarden.com

In reply to: Howto change category that digg.com posts are posted intohttp://codex.wordpress.org/press_it explains how it works as does this article. It’s incredibly easy.
If your posts post to the default category, and you changed it, then double check that you made the correct change. It should be there.
Also, if you are having trouble getting Press It to work, which is very simple and better than digg’s blog it, consider getting this Notepad Plugin which also features a Press It like feature which allows you to “take notes” and then turn those notes into posts. Very neat.
http://www.chrisjdavis.org/cjd-notepad/
But get Press It working and the rest of this is null.
