OK, so I activated the Expound theme on one of my blogs and out of the box it works like a champ in mobile. So let’s take a step back. Did you activate any widgets since you installed? Did you do any custom css?

I’m a designer by trade and truthfully don’t have much advice for you here. Again, the theme is great. Really clean and easy to navigate. Interesting content. And a logo… bonus!
One thing that did trip me up a little bit are the words across the top… OMG Worthy • Fashion • Food & Entertaining • Home & Garden • Travel • Life
I actually hovered over and tried to click on them. That was my first instinct. Maybe consider making those links to categories?

Can you clarify what you mean by posts on the left? Are you talking about having your posts display in the Categories section? Or do you want to remove the left column altogether?
If you want to stretch the width of the middle content you need to really dig into the css and customize the theme. Do you have your child theme created?

In reply to: event templateHmmmmm. There are probably some out-of-the-box templates that have that functionality. I’ll do some digging.
With a self-hosted site you can search (Appearance > Themes > Add New) and find a theme based on specific features. Might want to give that a look too.

I really dig your design. That’s a great theme. I would suggest adding your site’s name (your name) in the upper left. If you could “logo-ize” it, even better. I suggest this for a few reasons…
– It’s standard practice to do so. I actually waited for a few seconds for something to load. Which it didn’t.
– It’s typically the first thing the viewer sees (as most people look up+left first and then down to content)
– When a viewer gets into the site it’s a quick and easy click to get back home.Keep up the great work and Happy WPing!

I can’t think of a good reason why the logo would load on the desktop but not elsewhere. Did you get the issue resolved?
