    Hey,

Thanks for buying the Sponsors Pro extension πŸ™‚ I’ll go through your points one-by-one…

    1. There should be a shortcode for single and group sponsors but you will need the classic editor to see the shortcode buttons. The shortcodes are:
    [sponsor_single id=”” align=””]
    [sponsor_group groups=”” limit=””]

    2. I see what you mean. I’ll look into that πŸ™‚

    3. That’s not a request I’ve had before so to be honest I don’t think that is something I won’t persue at this point. It seems like too much of an edge case to spend the time it would take to implement that when I have so many things to work on already.

    4. Yep, that is something I’m working on as it is becoming more popular! I was hoping to get it out in the last release but ran out of time. It’s top of the list so hopefully will be available as an option soon!

    I hope that’s all good?

    Cheers πŸ™‚

Cool, it sounds like you have a nice little setup with Visual Composer.

Thanks for the translations, they really are appreciated and hopefully we will have some ready for the offical language packs – I think they need to be 90% done before they are added automatically.

Yes, it is an open repository, feel free to contribute but make sure any pull request are to the ‘dev’ branch – https://github.com/ClubPress/wp-club-manager

    Hi πŸ™‚

Unless I’ve got the wrong idea, you can currently achieve that by using multiple shortcodes specifiying one job in each shortcode, for example:

    [staff_list title = β€œBoard” id = β€œ17093” limit = β€œβ€ job = β€œ32” orderby = β€œname” order = β€œASC” linktext = β€œβ€ linkpage = β€œβ€ columns = β€œname, thumb, job”]

    [staff_list title = β€œManagers” id = β€œ17093” limit = β€œβ€ job = β€œ33” orderby = β€œname” order = β€œASC” linktext = β€œβ€ linkpage = β€œβ€ columns = β€œname, thumb, job”]

    [staff_list title = β€œCoaches” id = β€œ17093” limit = β€œβ€ job = β€œ34” orderby = β€œname” order = β€œASC” linktext = β€œβ€ linkpage = β€œβ€ columns = β€œname, thumb, job”]

But that said, the order of the staff list should reflect the drag-and-drop ordering so I’ll look into that and get that fixed.

    Hope that helps πŸ™‚

    Hi,

Sorry it took so long! My computer finally died a few weeks ago after being on it’s last legs for a couple of years and I was only able to replace it last week!

I hope you enjoy the new update. Pretty much everything you requested is in there but I haven’t been able to come up with a satifactory way to show player histories in list due to the way the plugin currently retrieves stats. At the moment it would be too resource intensive to run but it’s something I will introduce in the future.

The Score Summary plugin is no longer needed so you should uninstall that. In fact I pulled it from the WP repository over the weekend so it shouldn’t be available anymore.

I’m now pushing on with some new themes and the long-awaited Pro version but I’m always willing to hear new ideas so feel free to share them anytime πŸ™‚

    Cheers

I’ve chased up the Polyglots team and they have reassured me that they will get looked at but they are all volunteers so please be patient. You can contact your languages GTE direct if it starts to take too long but I would give it another week at least as a lot of them are also preparing for WCEU.

In the meantime please continue to make translations if you can. They will all be reviewed by the GTE to determine whether you are suitable to become a PTE so you won’t have to review them yourself afterwards.

Thanks again for your help – it is VERY much appreciated πŸ™‚

    Thanks for your help!

I’ve applied for you both to become Editors for your respective languages, then you can approve your own, and others, translations. I hope that’s okay?

Once a language is over 90% translated it becomes available to all users πŸ™‚

Ok cool, don’t know what was going on there but I’m glad it’s working fine now!

Thanks for getting back to me, have a nice day πŸ™‚

I will join the French translation team.

That would be amazing!! Thanks πŸ™‚

I will take advantage of your strong presence here to wake up the few concerns mentioned on another subject.

Haha! I’ll get back to you later today… not ignoring you, it’s been a challenging time recently and I’m just getting back to things. Thanks for your ever increasing patience πŸ˜‰

    Hi,

That’s strange! I’m not sure what’s happening there! Which version of MySQL are you using? Can you provide me with the info from Club Manager > Status page please?

    Cheers

    Hi,

No probs, I’ll try and help you out with all of your questions πŸ™‚

    1. I’ll try to get that player selection filtered to show only players from the same roster – or at least the same season, in the next release.

    2. I don’t use Transifex since WP switched the handling of translations to their own Polyglots system, which has been a real pain for me as it didn’t transfer my existing translations that had been kindly worked on by dozens of translators.

It would be awesome if you could join the WP Club Manager translation team at https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/wp-club-manager/ and contribute to the German translation file.

    3. At the moment Google is the only map available through the plugin. I would like to add another option though, do you have a preference? I am already planning to add an OSM option soon.

    4. I’ve not had any other reports of it coming back. Is it on the front or back end? I assume you don’t have the old Score Summary installed?

    5. I’ve not had that reported before but I’ll look into it and get it fixed before the next release.

    6. That’s a work in progress. Eventually only seasons where the player is in a roster will display in the stats table. The old method of having to manually tick each player individually at the start of a new season was very time consuming and rosters make it much easier!

In the meantime it is possible to deselect seasons for players by using the Quick Edit method on the Players List admin page.

    7. Agreed. I’ll add a Staff Gallery πŸ™‚

    8. Yep. That’s been on the to-do list for a long time… I’ll move it up the list πŸ™‚

    9. This isn’t something I’ve ever been asked for in the whole 6 years of the plugin so I’m not sure this is a feature I’ll be adding anytime soon. If I have more requests for it then I’ll review that decision or if it is more of a feature of Handball in particular then I can look into some sort of Handball specific feature.

I hope that helps answer most of your queries, feel free to ask questions anytime and I’ll always do my best to help.

By the way…. I like your site, looks great πŸ™‚

    Hi paxton111,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, for some reason I’ve stopped being notified of new posts!!

Try going to the Club Settings > Players page and saving the stats settings to make sure the stats are being registered.

    I hope that helps πŸ™‚

    Hi th3bish0p,

Sorry for the delay getting back to you,I don’t seem to have got a notification and only just noticed your post!

I’ve just tested the wizard and it works as I expected but looking at the code where the error points it shows me that WP thinks you are inputting a comma separated array into one of the ‘terms’ inputs (competitions/season).

Does one of these have a comma in the name?

    Hi whatawaster,

Are you sure the match has a competition set? Also check the display settings for matches in Club Manager > Settings > Matches in your dashboard.

If that all seems correct and you still having an issue, let me know and I’ll need to take a closer look.

    Hi Matth,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

You can find more info about how to use the wpclubmanager_content function in our documentation.
