You’ll need to download and install the version of Redux from our GitHub repository, version 4.3.12.2: https://github.com/reduxframework/redux-framework

That issue has been fixed in that version.

It is my hope to have it released as 4.3.13 in the next week.

Please do not resort to scurrilous insults. It is uncivilized. This thread is dead and needs to be closed, mods.

sir u are wasting my time, of course u will not replicate the issue on ur local environment when the issue is on my end.

Exactly. I do not have Elementor Pro. I do not have the premium theme you are using.

I’m sorry you are frustrated and you can take it out on me all the livelong day. It doesn’t change the fact that you want me to fix something I can’t break because I don’t have the premium products you are using. So, I ask you again, what exactly do you want me to do?

Out of curiosity, did you open the developer’s console (CTRL+SHIFT+I) during said page hang to see if there were any JavaScript errors?

you are not being helpful at all just wasting my time here

    Thanks. Good luck to you.

And, again, respectfully, if you watched the video I provided, I can NOT recreate the error, therefore, it’s not Redux. You’ve not provided any data that shows me it is. “It doesn’t happen when I turn it off” is not proof. It means whatever is happening in the options code is not running. Have you contacted the theme author? The theme is a premium theme and I cannot mention it here. But I’d wager if I had a copy of the theme, the problem shows up, which would make it a theme issue. Again, that discussion is not permitted here, even if the moderators waffle in when it is or isn’t appropriate.

I will say for the final time: I cannot fix what I cannot break. Okay? There is nothing for me to fix! Do you understand that? The mods obviously think I am denying support by saying this, and that is gross misinformation.

so why dont u please do ur job and assign me to the right tech support.

I guess you missed my long “tl;dr” post. I did my job. I tested Elementor free version with Redux using the 2021 theme and everything worked. I took a video of it. What more do you want me to do? I do not have Elementor pro, I do not have the premium theme you are using, therefore I can do no more.

    Wow!

    ps – https://********.com/wp-content/plugins/elementor-pro-2/assets/css/frontend.min.css?ver=3.7.1 produces /*! elementor-pro – v3.7.1 – 16-05-2022 */
    @charset “UTF-8”;.elementor-bg-transform .elementor-bg{will-change:transform} <long string of CSS>

    But I’m wrong. Got it.

Respectfully, folks, I’ve been doing this a LONG time. I know how to open a debug console to see what plugins may or may not be running. I’m also capable of running Elementor the free version, which I did, and found nothing wrong.

This is the site in question with Elementor Pro listed as a loaded asset: https://ibb.co/7kkJzBF That pushed this into “pro and premium” territory for me, as I don’t have that plugin

This is a video of me using Elementor free version, with Redux running, with the 2021 theme. Everything loads and saves: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/9144552?key=8f3387d2763307ef63c1829b0d7e700a

We’ve not even considered the theme in use, Real Estate 7, which is premium (has that developer been contacted?): https://ibb.co/25kNRm1 Many times these are theme issues too. We have no control over how theme devs use Redux and why generally we do not support theme users (See below).

I have neither access to Elementor Pro nor Real Estate 7 as both are premium, which was suggested to me as not permitted here. I can’t debug other developers’ premium work. Please understand, as indicated by years of posts here, that “I disabled Redux and the problem went away” is NOT indicative of Redux being the cause. Why? Redux is an options framework. Theme and plugins that use it create their entire options system with it. If one disables Redux, all that functionality goes away, and sometimes the issue, because the issue often times is within the theme. This is not something I am able to determine as premium products are involved. If it were a free wp.org theme, I would take the time to try it for myself, as I have done many times in the past.

Now, with all that said, if the developers of any given plugin or theme are able to recreate the issue and can provide the data (meaning error logs, steps taken, and access to the premium product for me to test with) then I am better able to determine if Redux is the issue and if necessary, work with the developer to resolve the issue. I have done so many times in the past. But no one from Elementor or whoever authored Real Estate 7 has contacted us with said issues or data. I can’t fix what I can’t break, folks. Often times people will lay their issues at my door and blame Redux, and I have to show why that is most times, not the case. Then folks get irritated with me over it. And here we are.

I’m more than happy to fix Redux issues. It’s what I get paid to do. But I see no evidence this is a Redux issue past the circumstantial. It’s why I suggested asking the Elementor folks if they are able to recreate the issue with Pro running with the theme in question. Or does that fall on the theme author? Not sure on this. All I know is it’s not possible for me, at this time, to take this any further than the free version of Elementor and the stock WordPress themes.

You can support that user if you want as an opensource collaborator.

With whom? Elementor? I can’t recreate the issue with the free version, which suggests a theme issue or a Pro issue. Again, I can’t fix (or contribute to) what I can’t break.

You need to contact the theme editor for support. Learts is a premium theme that I am unable to support sd I do not have access to it, cannot test it, and wouldn’t be able to correct another developer’s code. If the theme author determines the issue with somehow with Redux, they need to report it to us via our GitHub tracker, include the data that supports their claim, and we will work with them. Good luck.

Okay. I’ll say it one more time. Elementor is a PREMIUM product. WordPress guidelines prohibit support questions for premium products on these forums. (See: https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/contributing-to-the-wordpress-forums/what-is-not-supported/)

I personally do not use Elementor. I am not paying for the premium version to do debugging work for someone else. Now, if the author for Elementor is able to reproduce the error, they need to contact us, preferably on our GitHub issue tracker, provide the evidence the issue is with Redux and steps for me to duplicate it, and most importantly, a complimentary license so I don’t have to spend my money on one, then I’ll take time to look into it. But those things need to happen first. This is all I can do and say here.

Elementor is a premium product. Is it against WordPress guidelines to post about them here.

    Plugin Contributor Kev Provance

    (@kprovance)

Elementor is a premium product. Those types of posts are not permitted here. Since the issue originates with Elementor and since I do not own a copy, you’ll have to report the issue to them and they’ll need to contact us after they determine what the issue is. Sorry. Good luck.

Please post the specific error. Disable/enable doesn’t mean it’s the plugin, it could be the theme using it improperly, which is why I need to know the specific error.

What codex? If you are talking about wp.org, it might take a week or two.
