In reply to: Changing font/color in Page headers or post headerLet me know if you’ll find my plugin useful http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/font/ it was created exactly for this purpose. It does allow changin font, size and color of page header.
Hi guys,
the problem is that fonts hosting website(fontsforweb.com) account is getting suspended all the time. It’s because of big traffic caused by the plugin. It was already cancelled on hostmonster and hostgator(recent one-week long break). Now I’m trying inmotionhosting, and lots of performance optimisation, also new version of the plugin supports caching, and if account will get suspended again then I’ll have to move to dedicated server.
best regards,

In reply to: WP Beginner – how do I change fonts and add graphics?Hi whereswaldie i have a plugin for changing font without any CSS or HTML coding
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/font/Hi marytrostle,
thank you for your feedback. Was that a problem which occured only once or is it happening when you’re trying also now?Which browser and version are you using? Could you upload the screenshot(i.e. here http://imageshack.us/?no_multi=1) because I have no access to your computer’s path.
thank you,

So what should I remove in order to not conflict with GPL license?
It’s done on “Font” plugin, it will also remove link when current users will update
Hi clavans,
thanks for your feedback. fontsforweb.com was down for couple of days, and plugin needs it’s database to work. I had to change hosting from HOSTMONSTER because it was complete crap! They were suspending my entire hosting account every week! That is unacceptable for any serious website. I had to write to help desk all the time to put my account back live.
Is plugin working now for you?
cheers,

In reply to: Fatal error“Apparently the plug-in doesn’t like IE.xx.”
That’s almost true as it doesn’t like IE 7 and below. In next release I’ll mention that plugin requires at least:
-PHP 5.3 just like any current wordpress release
-IE 8+ or FF 3.6+ or Chrome 9+ or Safari 4+These are requirements for admin side, but for visitors these requirements are not applicable as fonts are working in all modern browsers.
thanks,

In reply to: Fatal errorJust as we were writing in emails I will also reply here if anyone else has similar problem:
——————
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /hermes/bosweb/web063/b632/sl.billford/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/font/Font.php on line 16
———————The reason of this fatal error is server running on PHP 4 which is not supported by my plugin. Upgrade to PHP 5 is very simple.
My plugin was released after wordpress has ended supporting PHP 4

In reply to: Fatal errorI can see immediately what’s the problem. You have installed plugin twice. One “fontsforwebcom-webfonts-plugin” is very old version so remove it.
Solution is very simple remove folder: “fontsforwebcom-webfonts-plugin”
from “wp-content/plugins” directoryI’ll think about providing some more info about fonts in mini browser to make users life easier and no need to visit website for info about every font.
Of course you can delete it or you can continue to use it that’s only your choice. My policy is to also have some benefit from my work. I’m web developer in London and if I would spend same amount of time as on developing my plugin I could do contract job for couple hundreds punds. But still plugin is free.
Finally we have an answer,
The problem is that your template is using image as a title and that’s why there’s nothing we can do to change font using “Font” plugin.
Here’s the source to that image from your blog:
