In reply to: [Email Before Download] Email Before Download: SettingsI also only see ‘Deactivate’. My main problem is that when this plugin is activated, it creates a ‘500 Internal Server Error’ when I try and login to my Admin Panel which is a pain. I have tried moving to an older version of PHP but makes no difference. I use a Monstroid Template. They say it’s nothing to do with them, and suggest I try and different plugin. Has anyone else got an issue with Monstroid Templates and EBD. The Error Log isn’t showing anything….

In reply to: [Email Before Download] 500 error withAfter a long session with our host company I have finally been told definitively that Email Before Download is causing my inability to Admin login. Is it a compatibility issue with Monstroid Template V 1.1.3? I’ve been onto Monstroid too and they couldn’t tell me. Really need to fix this now, any ideas @mandsconsulting?

In reply to: [Email Before Download] 500 error withI am still having issues with EBD. (Customer Sender gone now) I have updated the plugin, activated it and it works! However when activated it is still stopping me login to my admin panel (it’s only because my login is saved on a previous session that I can get back in!!). I have refreshed cache, F5 but no joy. All my versions and plugins are up to date. If I deactivate it, I can login in as Admin from another tab. As soon as I activate it: 500 error….

I ended up emailing the developer directly and this is their reply:My name is Chris and I’m the developer working on EBD. I will be pushing an update shortly that should address a lot of issues people are having.

When I try and download a document, I get this on the page – (the code but not the download!)
To receive an email containing a link to download a PDF version of xxxxx, please complete this short form:

If I activate the plugin to allow download, we get the following error when trying to log back in: Internal Server Error. In reply to: [Email Before Download] 500 error withI’m having the same problem, CF7 5.0, WP 4.9.4, Email before Download 5.1.1 but has to be deactivated otherwise can’t access Admin Login from any other machine. (Luckily I was still logged in on mine and did the same one-at-a-time disabling plug-ins before Email before Download identified as the problem.)
BUT while deactivated nobody can download pdfs from my site. Help!
