Update: I tried changing the settings in gmail to never send to spam emails from [redacted]@belltowergames.com, and fired off some test messages, and now it works! Not sure what the issue was, but thanks for the help!

Actually the more I think about it the more I think gmail might indeed by the problem. For a week I’ve been getting messages like this:

“There was a temporary problem delivering your message to belltowergames@appomattox.dreamhost.com. Gmail will retry for 45 more hours. You’ll be notified if the delivery fails permanently.
LEARN MORE”

I never knew what this meant and assumed it was some kind of spam but maybe it’s the contact form trying to email me and gmail saying no.

I don’t know what “belltowergames@appomattox.dreamhost.com” is, though. The email address in the contact for is [redacted]@belltowergames.com.

So I’m not sure what to put as the email to always allow. Guess I can try both.

My theme is Odrin (http://subsolardesigns.com/odrin/) and I’m using WooCommerce, MailChimp, Jetpack, Unyson, Akismet, Elementor, Blubrry, Envato, and then some Odrin-related plugins. Or at least, I have all of those installed, I don’t really use all of them.

I’m skeptical it’s an issue with email, but maybe Gmail is mysteriously deleting these emails without first sending them to the spam folder. I will try this out.

Hmm, that is strange; when I go to the site and add an in-stock product to the cart (Backyard Baseball is a good choice), then click on “cart”, I do get the “Buy with Google Pay” button, or “Proceed to Checkout”. If I choose Google Pay, it gives the error; if I choose Proceed to Checkout, it doesn’t show the Google Pay option. And I don’t see Apple Pay anywhere.

I tried this and got the same error, but in the Storefront it gave an additional error “billing address is a required field”, which doesn’t show up in Odrin.

I don’t know where in WooCommerce to adjust this setting or to make billing address not required for autopay options, can you advise?
