GooglePay not working

    I am new to WooCommerce and ecommerce generally. I just opened my storefront on my webpage, and a user reports an error in using Google Pay. They’re getting a message that says “There was an error processing your order”.

    Other people have placed orders with credit card and paypal and not had a problem, and their orders went through.

    The trouble is that the WooCommerce payments tab doesn’t have any options or actions I can take so I’m not sure how to figure out what is wrong or what to do about it.

    JuanG suggested updating WP and WooCommerce, but the buyer reported that it still wasn’t working for him even after these updates.

    Reviewing the System Status report I noticed WooCommerce Payments is outdated, can you please update it to the latest version:

    WooCommerce Payments: by Automattic – 3.7.0 (update to version 3.8.1 is available)

    Also, the theme you are currently using is overriding several templates on the site, including:

    Can you temporarily change the theme to Storefront: https://woocommerce.com/storefront/?aff=10486&cid=1131038 and try to place a new order using Google Pay?

    I tried this and got the same error, but in the Storefront it gave an additional error “billing address is a required field”, which doesn’t show up in Odrin.

    I don’t know where in WooCommerce to adjust this setting or to make billing address not required for autopay options, can you advise?

    I’ve visited the site but was unable to check Google Pay, as it seems to be disabled.

    The billing address options in your checkout appear to be correctly set up, but unfortunately we are unable to test the Google Pay as it does not appear to be operating. Could you enable it for us, so that we may see the errors in action?

    Hmm, that is strange; when I go to the site and add an in-stock product to the cart (Backyard Baseball is a good choice), then click on “cart”, I do get the “Buy with Google Pay” button, or “Proceed to Checkout”. If I choose Google Pay, it gives the error; if I choose Proceed to Checkout, it doesn’t show the Google Pay option. And I don’t see Apple Pay anywhere.
