Hey @ceenee
Thank you for reaching out. The WP forums are meant to support the free version of Formidable Forms. Based on your description, you are using the Pro version. Could you open a new ticket here: https://formidableforms.com/new-topic/? We’ll be happy to help you over there.Hey @max-dayala
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Our dev team has logged this on our issue tracker.
Since this is a Pro issue. I encourage you to write us for any update regarding this issue using the link that @faisalahammad shared:
https://formidableforms.com/new-topic/Hey @danicelebic,
Thank you for the reaching out about this today.
1. For the issue with the confirmation not opening a new tab on mobile devices, could you post the form on a blank page and share it with me over here?. I want to further troubleshoot it.
2. I just tested Chrome on my desktop, and the pop-blocker of my browser setting stopped the new page from opening. Could you check this setting on your end?
https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95472?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop3. For the email issue, please ensure that the “To” field in the email notification settings is set to the field id of the email address in your form. For example,
[10]
Where 10 is the field ID of the email field.
If using the [admin_email] does not work either. Please check the following:

You could add inline custom CSS to target those elements classes in the mail. This way you don’t have to use the plain text option or change your style.
You can add the inline CSS in the Message box of the Email Notification action. You can check out this example:

Would this work for you?Hey @chrys24
I apologize for the issue you experienced on your website. I just wanted you to know that CAPTCHA solutions are optional and should not cause this issue if they are missing.
This error message indicates that there is a keyword in the “Disallowed Comment Keys” box that can be found on the Settings > Discussion from your WordPress Dashboard – or that a 3rd party spam protection plugin has hooked into this same functionality.
Please check that this box is empty – even deleting any errant spaces – and see if that helps.
If not, please temporarily disable any other spam protection plugins (Cleantalk, Akismet, Jetpack, etc.) to test if the form submits correctly. Once you identify which plugin is causing the issue, you can update the settings within that plugin.
More information about this error message can be found in our documentation here: https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/add-spam-protection/#kb-your-entry-appears-to-be-blocked-spam.
Hey there,
Could you create a new ticket with your pre-sale question here: https://formidableforms.com/new-topic/?
All pre-sales questions are handled over there, not in the WP forums. Thank you.Hey Tison.
I’m glad you found the culprit of the issue. Let us know if there is anything else we can help with.
You’re most welcome, Anna. Have wonderful day ahead.
Hey Anna,
You can do this by using the following URL pattern with the [id] shortcode in the message:
<a href=https://your-website.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=formidable-entries&frm_action=show&id=[id]"> Go to entry </a>Let me know if that helps.
Hey @olumiide,
The conversation was marked as resolved, since we don’t have built-in feature that could help you accomplish your goal and custom code is not supported by our support. Our community is a great resource for finding help with custom code. You can post your question on our community site at https://connect.formidableforms.com/. Our community members are knowledgeable and willing to offer assistance.
Best,
JonathanHey there,
Thank you for reaching out about this today.
The most common reason we see for this is related to slow PHP emails from web servers. Could you turn off the email notification action on the form settings and test if the form is submitted more quickly?
If this solves the speed issue, install an SMTP plugin to avoid using your webhost email servers.
Best,Hey,
Thank you for reaching out about this today. We have documentation on how to set this up here: https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/email-notifications/#kb-set-up-an-autoresponder.
If the steps are not working, could you explain the issue in more detail?Hey,
Thank you for reaching out about this.
Faisal is right. When Akismet or any other spam tool flag a submission as spam, Formidable Forms won’t allow the entry to be submitted. Only the non-spam entries will be available for you to review.
Let me know if there is any other question I can help with.Hey there,
Thank you for reaching out about this today. I tried to replicate this on my end using PHP 8.0+, and it worked.
To make sure nothing else is affecting Formidable, could you follow the steps describe here:
https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/what-plugins-are-known-to-cause-conflicts/ ?
Let me know what you find.
Best,
