In reply to: [Gutenberg] Seeing the bigger visionI like that it simplifies the interface for new/end users. I like that it has the potential to streamline theming tools. I also like the potential of creating blocks and locking specific page functionality based on user role (page templates with editing on a granular level).
But as I said, this is a forward-thinking project for WordPress. If you’re looking at version 1 as the justification for change from the traditional editor or even your reason for the demise of WordPress…you’ve missed the point.
I am optimistic. WordPress doesn’t change overnight, but we need projects that check complacent ways of thinking.
Hey fellas! Just want to add, this is not a security issue. This is required by Google if you are using the verification setting it is meant to be public. You can read more about it here. Thanks!
This is excellent! Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Your feedback really helps us extend our services. Enjoy.

In reply to: [MarketPress - WordPress eCommerce] Both MarketPress and WPMUDEV horribleSorry to hear you had a bad experience with WPMU DEV in the past. 🙁 With our products currently running on millions of sites (real numbers) with thousands of positive reviews I wish we could have done better for you.
Our code is engineered with love by our team of more than 50 WordPress professionals. And we happily donate time and resources to a wide range of products for WordPress.
MarketPress is a free e-commerce tool available here on wordpress.org for people that are looking for an all-inclusive storefront plugin. We have nothing bad to say about Woo. 🙂
It’s an excellent tool but can get a little pricey when you have to start paying for all the add-ons. That is why we’ve made the full version of MarketPress available for free.
We learn from every person’s experience and we appreciate your feedback. Your critiques of our plugins, support and release schedule are noted but our 15-year track record with WordPress products and services should reassure you that we are here and we care about the flourishing of the WordPress community.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss this further feel free to contact our support team through the contact form on our site.
Thank you for using Smush. I am going to close this topic for now. If you are still having issues please share your results and we can reopen the thread.

In reply to: [Hustle - Email Marketing, Lead Generation, Optins, Popups] Moltio utileGlad to hear it is working well on your site! Thank you for taking time to rate and review Hustle.
Thank you for the feedback. The only difference between the free and pro version of Custom Sidebars is the built-in offer for a free health check that only shows to the administrators of the site. We hope you continue to enjoy the other features included to Custom Sidebars.
Also, I have passed your comment and concern along to our development team. We’ll keep things moving forward. 🙂
Thank you for your interest in Defender! 1.8 is in the works and we have quite a few new features being built. That said, our release schedule is primarily focused on quality. We have been pleased with the response from people in regards to overall quality. As we integrate new security features our goal is clean safe code that has been tested and retested. That said, there are times we push incremental changes. It just depends on the cycle and whatever is best for efficiency and safety.
If you come across an issue or have a feature request we will respond quickly. If you check through our resolved support topics you will find we are very responsive. I hope this brings you some peace of mind as we continue working on making Defender even better at his job.
Hi There! The Smushed images will populate automatically. That said, I ran a page speed test on your site and found that many of your images are not properly scaled for the theme containers. This can produce the notice as well.

You will want to make sure the images are scaled for the theme and this will help. 🙂
If you have any questions let us know. If you want to display 2x images you will need to set up two image files that delivery based on the screen size. You can do this using
srcsetin the HTML.Best of luck!

Thank you for using Smush. The free version of Smush does not optimize images over 1MB. You would need to use the Pro version of Smush to compress the larger images.
