Both MarketPress and WPMUDEV horrible

    Didn’t work correctly and they removed some features. You pay a yearly fee to access their plugins which are basically other plugins they’ve re engineered to make their own (borrowed code). Pretty much all their plugins are borrowed code and ideas from other reputable developers.

    Marketpress never really worked and promises of support never really happened or it came 6 months after it was needed. We moved to WooCommerce which was a no brainer.

    I used WPMUDEV for several years but they don’t support their plugins and when the going gets tough, they simply remove them.

    WPMUDEV is not a reputable WordPress company and honestly, their products shouldn’t even be showcased on WordPress.org.

    MarketPress is a free e-commerce tool available here on wordpress.org for people that are looking for an all-inclusive storefront plugin. We have nothing bad to say about Woo. 🙂

    It’s an excellent tool but can get a little pricey when you have to start paying for all the add-ons. That is why we’ve made the full version of MarketPress available for free.

    We learn from every person’s experience and we appreciate your feedback.
