In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Thanks for the 9 years but now I have to switchThanks barnez – are you saying that after disabling the Validator one can add [your-email] to the form From field instead of a domain address?

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Thanks for the 9 years but now I have to switchSame here. My clients like to see the actual email address of the sender in the email they receive. Instead they see their own address! It is driving me mad!

In reply to: Calendar Widget missing a dayHi Will – I have discovered what is causing the issue but no idea how to fix it. My website doesn’t have Posts (as such) but I did have to set up one to put a slideshow on the header of my theme. This is done by using a Post. The date of the post is the missing day in the calendar. I changed the date of the Post to see what happened to the calendar and sure enough the blank day changed to match the new date of the Post.

In reply to: Calendar Widget missing a dayThanks Will for reply. Site is not yet online and I’ve been caught before by support request showing up in Google results – not a good look for a web designer! It has to be a styling conflict I suppose though a very strange one. Thanks again for reply.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] I don't understand the mail tab at allgrimpond – you are right! I was confused because I am used to getting website emails with the form sender’s email next to the name. However, I tried replying to one of my test emails and sure enough up came the sender’s email address even though it is (now) not visible in the email I received. Thanks!

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] I don't understand the mail tab at allYou are not the only one! I have been using Contact Form 7 for years and now I am having trouble setting it up – in the Mail section.
This is the email that comes to you from your website containing the information filled in by the person sending the form. Most issues seem to stem from what to put in the TO and FROM fields. I can no longer receive the email address of the sender if I follow the current instructions.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Kush Micro News] Trying to change Header Title backgroundThe problem seems to be that the colors chosen in the Settings list don’t render the same color when displayed.
I tried 3 colors: Red, Midnight Blue and Black all from the selections offered in the list.
The results:
Red: from list #F25555 When displayed (using Colorzilla to ID the color): #F68888
Midnight Blue: list #191979 Screen: #5E5E9B
Black: list #000000 Screen: #4D4D4D
This is happening on all computers, not just mine.
How do I overcome this?
ThanksForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Kush Micro News] Trying to change Header Title backgroundThanks for reply Kush Sharma
I did a re-install and then tried to change the Header Title background via Settings to #dd4814. I removed all custom styling I had added for Kush Micro News from my Custom CSS but still the color won’t change from #E87F5B.
I will now check ALL my CSS to see if I can pick up where the problem lies.
Thanks
